My wife and I stayed here for one night. When we arrived we were made very welcome with a cup of coffee. Our room was comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. The house is in the country with lovely views over the fields and Dinas Bran Castle in the distance. Needless to say, it was very quiet! Perfect for relaxing! Llangollen was only about 5 minutes away by car.
Breakfast was around a large table in the dining room so it was really nice to be able to chat with other guests. Breakfast was a traditional cooked breakfast with cereals, fruit, toast and lots of coffee.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here and would definitely go back again if in the area. Highly recommended.

Just stayed here for one night but everything about the stay was excellent: beautiful location (and within 10 minutes or so of Llangollen); lovely rooms with comfortable bed; perfectly cooked breakfast with an enormous choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurts and a warm welcome with offerings of tea or coffee. And free Wi-fi to boot! Tremendous value for such a lovely place.

Stayed here in Aug 2013. As others have said the settings for this B & B are fantastic with lovely views and it is nice and quiet. We had the 4 poster room which was very nice (the curtains made by the owner were beautiful). The room has obviously been updated as there was a newly fitted large shower. Me and my partner felt we were left alone by the owners, Which is just how we like it, however when we did talk to them we found them both a little socially awkward and it was difficult to get a conversation started. We are both quite young and they seemed to get on better with the older guests, which annoyed us a little as we felt no matter who your guests are they should feel equally welcome. All said we enjoyed our stay very much and would go back again, because of the surroundings and lovely breakfast!

We stayed here for one night and wanted somewhere to stay close to Llangollen to allow us to meet up with some friends who were there for the weekend.

We booked the room with the four poster bed which was of a good size and very comfortable. It had a nice ensuite bathroom with large shower which looked like it had been recently installed as it was modern and very clean.

The breakfast was very good and our hosts were accommodating even bring us tea and biscuits on arrival.

The only reason I would not give 5 stars is that in the bedroom there is a cupboard with a header tank in it that when water is used in other areas of the house fills up very noisily. This woke us both up in the morning and I am not a particularly light sleeper.

Would stay again if in the area but probably in a different room to avoid the noise from the header tank.

We stayed at Tyn Celyn on the night of Saturday August 18th and were immediately in awe of the beautiful setting in which it nestled. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we settled in immediately. When we booked we were asked if we wanted the beds as twins or zipped into a very large double and we chose the latter. This proved a good choice as it was most comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The bedding was spotless. Our hosts were friendly and made us feel most welcome. Next morning we enjoyed a magnificent breakfast. My husband said it was the best he had ever had, which is praise indeed! We will definitely be staying again next time we visit Llangollen. Thank you for your generous hospitality.

Attractive old farmhouse with eye-catching personal effects in the large dining room, in which we shared breakfast around the large dining table with other guests. Bed comfortable, and our female hostess was pleasant and helpful, although her husband seemed a little curt, with his first (and only) words to us being an abrupt order to not park our car where we had pulled up! Maybe just a man of few words - but he did not seem friendly. Toilet seat in our ensuite loose - needed fixing! However, very central and convenient, with a great Indian restaurant in Llangollen - wish I could remember the name!
