“Great spot for a brew”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

Great place for fresh food and a good cuppa. Looks like they do good evening meals too. A nice place with a good atmosphere right next to the farm shop.

“Sunday lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2014

This was one of many of our visits to abbey farm tea rooms . And we were well impressed again.in the company of four friends who all enjoyed their main meals and desserts. Excellent food. And desserts to die for. Hats off to the chef ( Steve ) and his lovely wife too. Will call again soon.

“Great food and welcome on a miserable day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 December 2013 via mobile

This place has a log stove which was burning brightly and the welcome was just as cheery. Interesting stuff around the walls and lots of magazines to read. There was a good choice of food which was imaginatively served and was very tasty and served in very generous portions. Our American friends who accompanied us were very impressed with the place as well. Maybe a wee upgrade to the toilet facilities would be helpful although they were clean enough. It was just a bit inconvenient in that you had to brave the torrential rain to visit the loo.

“Great coffee and cakes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 December 2013

We only had time for a coffee and cake, such a shame as the menu looks great and is very reasonably priced! There is a great selection of cakes which are really delicious! We found the tea room whilst visiting the nearby Vale Crucis Abbey. We will definitely come back here again, the staff were friendly, as were a large group of local walkers who were there for their Christmas lunch outing and added a lovely atmosphere to the place!

“First Class”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2013

I'm amazed at some of the poor reviews below, this little tea room is fabulous, friendly, clean, organised and reasonably priced. The food is absolutely outstanding. The soup gorgeous and coffee is good. I'm a local and don't they say the locals know the best places to go, well this is one of them, there is another tea room in the town which comes highly recommended, which you'll find in my reviews, but if you visit Abbey Farm Tea Rooms, you'll not be disappointed. Good value, good food and in a lovely setting.
