We loved our stay here. We stayed in the town house, as we have 2 children. They loved it. It is a really good location, close to town. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. We had breakfast provided, which they brought up to us.
There was free Wi-Fi, but we couldn't connect to it, unfortunately.
We had no problems with noise, even though it is right in the town with pubs close by.
The bedroom had a ceiling fan, which helped us keep cool in the hot weather.
The owners are really accommodating and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this guesthouse and would definitely return.
The only downside was the parking: we arrived (during the summer holidays) on Sunday lunchtime and there were no parking spaces available in any car parks close to the town. We unloaded the car and then had to park in a car park about 10 minutes away. We also only found out about the car parking pass after we had paid. It would have been helpful to know about it on arrival.

We stayed in the Suite, which is the ground floor of a townhome. The front room is a living room with a couch, chairs and a 2-person table. Breakfast is served here via staff access from a steep stairway down to the basement. The bedroom with a dressing vanity is in the back, witha window overlooking the River Dee. The bathroom is fairly large with a shower head (but no enclosure or tub) in one corner. The spray mostly stays on that side of the bathroom and goes down a drain (like a boat shower), which was acceptable. This is the best-equipped B&B we have ever seen, in case you forgot anything. It also had movie and music CDs and games in the front room (and a second TV in the bedroom).

It was especially nice to sleep to the gurgling sound of the fairly shallow River Dee as it rushed over stones, and to go a few houses down to a hotel bar and take your drinks to its garden area on the river.

The location is excellent, right on the edge of downtown. You can load and unload on its narrow one-way street, and then drive to nearby public parking lots, free with your stay.

Would also recommend dining at the Corn Mill pub, with both inside rooms and an outside deck on the River Dee.

Stunning place and views, amazing bathroom. Very homely, love all the candles and log burner on in the evening. Quiet lounge, only shared with one other room.
Made very welcome, nothing too much trouble.
Convenient, central location.
Parking permit given for choice of several near by car parks.

Room Tip: Go for the room with the amazing bath :-)

We stayed at the suite with 2 dogs, the owners made us feel very welcome and the additional cost for pets at only £6 is extremely reasonable, we have at other places paid an additional £20 per dog per night! The location is perfect, central for everything and we specifically booked the suite because it had the use of the garden, we made great use of this, eating out in the garden in the evening overlooking the river and we also had breakfast in the garden. Overall a lovely find and somewhere we will definitely be back to visit. Thank you

This was our first holiday with our 4 month old baby and it could not have been better. The owner Carol is so friendly and welcoming that everyone is made to feel like family rather than customers. We stayed in the Townhouse apartment so were able to put our son to bed in the bedroom and come down to the lounge. The location of the hotel is excellent 1 min walk to the Main Street and the views to the rear of the river Dee are unbeatable. The apartment has everything you could possibly need even down to the rubber ducks in the bath! We will definitely return and would unreservedly recommend Cornerstones for a stay in Llangollen.

Room Tip: Townhouse is excellent for couples or families with a baby like us!
