Booked through a KGB deal. Accommodation very nice. Food was fabulous. Hotel is set in beautiful area, good for walking. Helpful and courteous staff. We had a very pleasant two day visit. I would recommend this hotel.

we booked this hotel as part of a party, we where given a 'pre order' sheet, that had very nice food for the price we where paying, on arrival we all sat in the bar to wait for our tables to be set up, we booked for 7.30 but we actually sat down closer to 8pm, the male owner seemed to be just sat at the end of the bar all night drinking some sort of alcoholic drink, whilst the female owner was running around making sure everyone was happy.. so anyway we received our starter course, witch seemed to be how we expected it.. however when the mains came out it was a nightmare! we where served 'lamb casserole' instead of 'braised lamb', all our mains where served on the same plates our starters where served on!, all at a starter size! in fact the starters where bigger than the mains!. the desert was pretty much the same, 'banoffee pie' turned out to be carrot cake!, this was just a disaster, the bar was understaffed, the two people we seen in the kitchen (chefs) where then changed out there whites and helping on the bar!, we didn't stay for breakfast, and i'm actually glad after our experience in the night! the hotel itself seemed nice, was just the lack of organisation that put us off, as a result I will not be returning.

Can't add much - its very spacious and pleasant. The restaurant is slightly quirky - really odd to have rap music at breakfast, but the food was very nice. Some of the rooms have a huge shared balcony - and the corner rooms are bigger than the others - but all the rooms (we had three) are very spacious.

We purchased a KGB deal which was excellent value for money. The hotel was very clean with welcoming staff on hand. Our bedroom faced RAF Valley but we were not disturbed by the noise of aircraft due to the double glazing. The hotel is a little remote therefore we ate in the restaurant on both nights which was fairly priced for the food provided. There is a beautiful beach within walking distance and lots of areas to visit within a 15 min car journey eg the RSPB site and lighthouse We had a lovely break here and would visit again.

Although a little remote ,this hotel is top notch.
The rooms are Hilton standard and the dinner and breakfast were excellent.
There is a large bar area, and both that and the restaurant seem to be used a lot by the locals, all the staff were very nice.
The beach is probably a little more than the stated 10 minute walk, but you can always drive to it (the road is a bit bumpy) however if you are looking for seclusion and great views, you are in the right place.
Would stay again

We stayed here on our way to catch a ferry to Ireland, which was due to leave the next morning at 8am. Basic accommodation but very helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast is not served early enough on weekends to get to the ferry on time, but they specially opened the restaurant early for us to have a continental breakfast. We would stay here again, the hotel is in the countryside and very quiet and just perfect if you would like to have an early night before getting up early for the ferry. There is a good menu for dinner with large portions.

Have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel purchased via KGB voucher deal. Had very warm welcome and staff were helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was clean, large and comfortable with lovely views towards Snowdonia. Breakfast were excellent and it was nice to have the choice of freshly prepared eggs any way you want (omelette was delicious) and also a delicious home made fresh fruit salad if required. Having read some negative reviews can only assume they had the right staff on duty this week (including the chef). We stayed in for one evening meal and found this to be good and reasonable priced. Would definitely stay again and hope that the standard of this week is maintained. There was a group of RAF Valley chaps staying and quite a few other guests so perhaps we were lucky. Would recommend the Black Lion Public House in Llanfaethlu (approx seven miles away) for an evening meal - absolutely beautiful food worth paying a not too 'eye watering' price for.

Room Tip: Room 2, on the first floor was excellent.
