A modern family run hotel with an easy relaxed atmosphere. The room was well appointed and large enough to accommodate 2 people without the feeling of claustrophobia that one can get with some UK hotels. It wasn't,t a view to die for from the bedroom window but I was there one night on business and the hotel had been recommended by a colleague who uses it on a regular basis. I did not eat in the restaurant but noticed it was busy for a Monday night. All in all a pleasant experience, good value for money and I will stay again on my next trip to Anglesey. Ps the dog has the best job in the hotel.

Room Tip: I stayed in room one on the 1st floor

Stayed the weekend 7th - 9th March. Check in was extremely fast and welcoming we stayed in room 3 first floor which was charming, clean and an excellent view of RAF Valley which we enjoyed the jets taking off and landing friday afternoon. After a beautiful nearby walk (beach is 5-10 min drive although can walk) we booked to have our evening meal in the hotel restaurant again lovely food was of very good quality and very hot. Couple of drinks at the bar before retiring to our room, no noise what so ever peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was again of good quality and hot with plenty of choice.

Although the jets were a delight to watch on the friday it was a welcoming relief that the airfield was extremely quiet for the rest of the weekend. We ate out Saturday evening for a change although wouldn't have minded eating in the restaurant again.

All in all a fantastic weekend at an amazing deal. Staff are very friendly and welcoming plus our bed was changed on both days which was impressive as i'm abit particular. Would recommmend to friends and family and will be back again myself soon.

We were drawn to the seaside as the weather finally improved. We were delighted that this hotel would allow us to have our three children in a family room, making a hotel trip away affordable.
We paid £125 for a family room. Apart from the fact that it was in the basement, we were very pleased. It was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also large with a shower and a bath. There was a table and chair to sit in in the evening where you could bark 'Why aren't you asleep yet?' at the kids.
Special mention of the quality of the hospitality tray which not only had biscuits (very important) but the quality of the tea and milk sachets was such that we enjoyed a genuinely good cup of tea.
Also special mention of the full Welsh breakfast that arrived promptly and was delicious. The self service element of the breakfast was also excellent, fruit-salad, coffee machine, tea and toast when you wanted.
Most of the wall lights in the room did not work but we did report that on the comment sheet.
We hope to come back.

Room Tip: Our room (32) was in the basement which might not be to everyone's tastes but there was plenty o...

We have had a lovely break here. The hotel is clean and the bedrooms are comfortable. Out room was lovely, room 33, was very clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely and very friendly, particularly Molly, the dog. We read reviews about the restaurant, but to be honest, we found it fine... The breakfast was good, best poached egg for a long time and lovely bacon cooked well, as I had asked. We had our evening meal there too, and it was good! Scallops were excellent as was the chicken, veg and the new pots were to die for... Not buttered but melted in the mouth. We will defo go again.... Thank you Hotel Cymyran x

Stayed at the hotel for the Valentine's weekend. We had a premier room with a balcony, however due to the weather did not really get the opportunity to use it. However did think it was strange that it was a communal balcony for 4 rooms. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable and being on the second floor had great views.
The food in the restaurant was very good on both evenings that we dined. We did book in advance for the 1st evening as it was valentines, and our food order was taken whilst in the bar and 45 mins later taken into restaurant to find our food already served on the table. (not something that I have experienced before). On the 2nd evening we did not book and although told it would be around 45 mins before a table would be available it was in fact 1 1/2 hours. The restaurant staff seem to lack customer service experience as all seem to lack any vocabulary that included please and thank-you. ie when taking food orders just appeared, stood there waiting for you to order... when order placed, walk away without a thank you.
I can only say that the one person that stood out from all the staff was Nigel the barman, who to be honest was getting more frustrated with the service we were receiving, then we were. He was very friendly and openly talked and chit chatted with all guests.
Recommended walk to the beach is only 10 mins away from the hotel.
All in all we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

Stayed this weekend for a two nights winter deal £89 B+B. Room 14 was on the ground floor within easy reach of reception, bar and restaurant. Disabled parking outside the front door with level access Although the hotel is a bit out of the way, the standard of the hotel is excellent and we would use it again. The adaptations are excellent and as a paraplegic I was more than happy with the facilities. The breakfast is something to die for absolutely fab. Staff were really nice and made us Southern folks welcome. Cant wait to visit again.

Room Tip: Disabled room 14

We have just returned from a two night KGB stay at this hotel. Even though we were there the weekend when rain and gales made it seem that Armageddon was imminent, we had a brilliant time. The hotel was immaculately clean. Our room (no.2) was really big and beautifully furnished, opening on to a shared terrace. All the staff were fabulous, efficient friendly and professional - a special mention for Janet. But the owner was the best ingredient of all. She was informative, funny and extremely sociable, a hidden gem. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

Room Tip: Room 2 is great
