Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for one night, we were racing the next day and wanted somewhere close. We were worried about the hotel as we are used to 5* hotels, however we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, we arrived late and were still able to greet us and directed us to our room for the night. The rooms and hotel definitely should be reviewed and put more towards a 4* hotel!!

Visited with my sister and her three children while we were exploring beaches castles etc in Anglesey. Hotel phoned the night before to check on the ages of the children and on arrival they were given an excellent family room with four proper single beds but also plenty of space. Lower ground floor so no worries about the children making too much noise. The deluxe double was very attractive although a bit warm as the balcony door was stuck fast and there was no one to fix it until the next day. Bathrooms were ok although the wet room type shower had a nasty curtain when a door would be better and was also a bit prone to flooding out onto the rest of the floor. There was a good bath though. TV with good channel choice but wifi didnt reach upstairs to that room.Dinner was good as was breakfast with the restaurant overlooking its vegetable garden. We didnt walk to the local beach as we had already been at the beach that day. Hotel is very close to the airport runway but we were not really bothered at all by noise.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with wifi and go the extra £10.00 for the delux room

DOG POO at the entrance was a warning sign, but it was late, my son was asleep and our ferry was early the next morning. I walked into the hotel reception only to be overcome by the stench of the old dog who called it home. I am a dog owner but this was just disgusting.
The staff were welcoming and directed me to the 'quiet' family sized room as I had requested. After struggling downstairs to the basement with two suitcases and two sleepy kids (no lift) we found the room. It was easily large enough for the four of us, pretty clean and we'll stocked with tea and biscuits. HOWEVER, it was certainly NOT QUIET, it was directly under the bar. Until the early hours all we could hear was loud music and chairs scraping across the floor.
We left early to catch our ferry, breakfast didn't start until 8am, but the staff made cereal and toast available early for us, which was nice.
Dodging yet more piles of poo on the way out I can safely say we will not be back!

Room Tip: Noisy basement family bedrooms, avoid if you can.

Stayed here overnight before catching the ferry to Dublin.
Lovely well-appointed room and bathroom.
Friendly staff and delicious breakfast.
Nice bar and very jolly barman,
Would recommend for pre-ferry overnight or longer to explore Angelsey.
Excellent value

We stayed in hotel cymyran in the middle of july. We were very last minute with the booking but they got us in at a busy time. The food realy was tremendous both for breakfast and dinner, the rooms are quite large but with a very small t.v, otherwise clean but basic.
The beach is not as close as they make out and there are no facilities or shops for miles.
A nice soundtrack of RAF jets taking off was nice to have but i am not sure it would be to everybodys liking

Easy to find hotel...large car park...very pleasant staff...reasonable priced meals, our evening meal and puddings were yummy, breakfast was just as nice..we enjoyed a walk to the local beach, bit of a bumpy ride if you go by car and very narrow...the noise from the jets isn't as loud as we were expecting....my hubby was pleased that they had peroni on draft.....we really enjoyed our mini break...nice beaches to visit....we had a very spacious room.... My little girl fell in love with Molly the hotel dog...very clean rooms...we will defo return...defo recommend the hotel..many thanks...x

This is a newly built hotel between Holyhead and the big Air Base on Anglesey. The rooms are small but fully equipped including free Wifi and a very modern and lovely en suite bathroom. Staff was very helpful with all requests. The restaurant was terrific: caught-that-day mussels, fantastic steak and ale pie, salad from produce grown on the hotel grounds. Lovely outdoor seating for good weather (which we enjoyed!). Some of the rooms are west-facing with rooftop seating, from which we enjoyed the sunset with our cocktails from the bar. Beach was a short walk away. We were catching the ferry early the next morning to Dun Loaghire in Ireland, and the terminal was just a very short drive away.

Room Tip: Upstairs, west facing rooms have outdoor seating
