As another reviewer says, it's a Travelodge. they don't do silver service or valet parking. As it happens this is the cleanest one we've used, comfortable bed and decent shower, and unusually the bathroom heater had not been removed "for my safety" Reading other comments I was wary about the car park but there were no problems, the road outside is lined with lorries but there was no noise or disturbance. Two minutes from the ferry, couldn't be better!
When travelling to Holyhead check out Running Hare at Ewole one hour away.

En route to Ireland we stayed ove night, staff were efficent and helpful, roomes were clean and well presented.
Have stayed at Travel lodges on many occasions and standards all seem the same, very acceptable, price was within our budget also.

This hotel is near to the railway and ferry. There is a fast food restaurant as well as a chip shop and several pubs within walking distance. The hotel is newly refurbished with king size beds and was surprising quiet as it is fairly close to the main road into Holyhead. I have every intention of staying here again when I go back to Holyhead.

We rolled in to this hotel at midnight and found the LAST room. So I can't say that we sought it out.

However, it was very convenient next to the ferry port. Our GPS sent us on a series of very narrow streets to make the entrance. But it proved to be good practice for Ireland.

While still fashionable, the rooms are sparse. But you don't stay at a Travelodge for the amenities. Clean bed, working shower. All we could have asked for.

Our only complaint was the temperature. There are no controls for fans and the windows don't open. Stuffy and hot.

My recent stay in this hotel was brilliant. An ideal place to stay if you are going to Ireland as the port is with a 5-10 minute walk. Also there is a Mcdonalds and Asda on the door step. Everything was as expected in the room, and of a good quality. The best thing about this hotel by far had to be the staff. Ryan a member of staff, was amazing he went above and beyond the expected customer services you would expect. His unrivalled local knowledge was of such a benefit. He and the hotel was a credit to travelodge. I hope to stay here again in the very near future.

The recent refurb of Travelodge has made great improvements - the new bed is especially comfortable. The Staff at Holyhead were very helpful. My only gripe is with the size of the TV - too small to watch properly from the bed!

Very good value with free parking just by entrance to ferry port. Beds very comfy and bathroom clean. Not a pretty area but very convenient when catching an early ferry. We ate at The Harbourfront Bistro, just over a mile away, but you will need to book as it's small, not open every day
