I can't suggest Ty Bach Cottage enough. We will absolutely be coming back in the summer. If you need a place to go for a private getaway to recuperate then Ty Back is the place to be. The location is outstanding, a short walk will take you out onto Holyhead mountain with fantastic views of South Stack lighthouse.
The cottage had state of the art facilities all finished to a high standard. It definitely offered more than what we expected and was perfect for our stay. The highlights were the fantastic cosy kitchen, internet access, and the wood burner. The local amenities were adequate, with only 10 minute drive to the local supermarkets and 5 minutes to the nearest restaurants.
The abundance of climbing on Gogarth cliffs and Holyhead mountain make this an ideal base for climbers. I would also recommend this stay for anyone who is into walking, bird watching and the vicinity to the water based actives makes it perfect for surfers and sea kayakers.

We stayed here for a weekend with friends, the location is simply stunning.
On the first morning we awoke to the most incredible sunrise over snowdonia before we headed out to enjoy the local area. On our return that evening there was an equally impressive sunset, just spectacular.
If visited, the top of Holyhead Mountain is a must for impressive 360 degree views! and South Stack Lighthouse in an evening is beautfiul.
Just a few hours drive from the city and we were in luxury for the weekend. The wood burner is a fantastic for a cosy evening in with friends.
Look forward to our next stay.
