Heading back at the weekend and honestly can't wait! Its such a beautiful hotel set beautifully in the hills. A 2 minute walk by the side of the beautiful river gets you to the town, but you still feel miles from civilisation. The chap we met on reception, who runs the place with i believe hi wife, was really friendly and chatty. It is not the cheapest , but the beautiful rooms make up for that, and as a lad who likes his food, the breakfast if fantastic. Were even willing to find a home for my mountain bike as i didn't want to leave it in the car overnight.
I honestly can't say enough bout how great this place is , great base for anyone looking to tackle the outdoors but wants somewhere nice to return too

Room Tip: rooms at the front ave fantastic views

We were staying in Beddgelert and booked a meal for 4 , we so enjoyed our meal that we booked another for us and our friends dad , brother and niece . It was our friends birthday on this particular evening and his family had come to Beddgelert with our friends mums ashes as she had died in November , she was born in Wales and the ashes were to be scattered the next day in a small village nearby . We all chose what we wanted to eat earlier in the day and we sat down for our meal and had our starter and then our friends dad became upset and couldn't eat his main course , Kevin the proprietor asked if there was anything he could do to help , but it was just a stressful situation . We thoroughly enjoyed the food and wished we had eaten there most nights , we go to Beddgelert every Easter so next year we will !! If you have a meal here you will not be disappointed it is fabulous . I don't know who does the cleaning but they must spend hours doing it , the place was spotless ! The charming people who served us must be complimented too , they were very polite and efficient . Not forgetting Lyn the cook , fabulous and Kevin a most interesting character ! We did not stay at the hotel but I would imagine it would be very good indeed .

We had a lovely luxury room with a nice bath to soak away the aches from climbing Tryfan. Dinner of Welsh lamb was perfect starting with a dink in the comfortable bar. We were made very welcome. Looking forward to our next trip to Snowdonia already!

Just left after a 1 night stay with the ladies of the family. Absolutely perfect, rooms lovely and clean with great facilities - tea/coffee/hot chocolate and real milk, Not the tiny uht!!!! Food excellent - I have never tasted such an amazingly cooked steak and the location is wonderful. The bar makes you feel at home. The owners and staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much!

This is a wonderfully relaxing small hotel set in the idyllic surroundings of Snowdonia. The rooms and decor are of a very high standard and exceptionally clean. Kevin and his staff were attentive (but not intrusively so) and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The breakfasts were freshly cooked to order with plenty of fresh coffee. The evening meals, again, were freshly prepared from fresh, locally sourced ingredients - Welsh lamb and beef, fish bought in Llandudno, etc., plus an interesting, reasonably priced wine list. Little extra things like fresh milk ( not UHT) available for tea in the rooms, and daily replacement of face flannels and towels added to the sense of luxury.

The weather in Snowdonia may be unreliable ( though you can rely on rain) but the region is lovely whatever. We can't wait to return to Bryn Eglwys (and the weather)

Not only is this Hotel an absolute gem in the middle of the very beautiful Snowdonia National Park but the Owners and Staff are both so welcoming and friendly. The food was superb and nothing was too much trouble. I accidently left all my jewellery there and not only did I receive it all back, sent to me via registered post, but they wouldn't even let me pay for the postage. We will definitely go back!

Gorgeous little b&b tucked away in the welsh mountains. If you're going to north wales you really must stay here! after climbing Snowdon it wa slovely to come back to our cosy little room, it's like a home away from home.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the building have stunning views of the mountains
