“Excellent as always”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Enjoyed the excellent Welsh Black burger pre-soaked in local beer alongside a truly wonderful home made tomato relish while my wife enthused about her home made salmon and asparagus quiche...the pecan pie was gorgeous too!
This is a 'must visit' local co-operative in Snowdonia with friendly staff in a quirky setting surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful scenery.

“Good location, good value food, very good service”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Used this cafe when we came down from the Watkin Path on snowdon. Very conveniently located in an old converted chapel only 2 minutes from the end of the path.
Reasonable choice of food, competitively priced and nice seating area outside under a glass roof.

“Friendly place, good food. Do not judge book by cover”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

We visited this cafe yesterday and enjoyed good coffee and home cooked food together with friendly, welcoming service. Recommend the Welsh Lamb Burger. It is easy to pass this converted chapel as its set up above ground level off a main road, but well worth looking out for. Easy parking outside and disabled access. Outside shaded seating (great for us with the dog) a bonus on such a hot day but would be just as good if it were pouring with rain. Although caf is in place of outstanding beauty its not visible from the cafe except a few seats overlooking the road.

They are not open every day so do check times online or by phone. Fantastic welsh breakfast and light meals/sandwiches/wraps/potatoes as well as more substantial fair. A little secret place frequented by walkers and travellers alike. Prices much more reasonable than going into Beddgellert, Capel Curig or Betwys y Coid. Disabled toilet and payphone together with WiFi. Highly recommended for grabbing a sandwich and refreshment to go, to enjoy a more leasurely meal with friends (they do functions so great place for a party) and child menu available. We felt nothing was too much trouble and we will be returning again very soon. We live in Tremadog and so this is local to us, yet we will still frequent it or the experience and good food. If the view was better we would have given this 5* but views are not everything. All else was superb. :-)

“Amazing specials!”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Lovely location. Food here is always amazing, especially the specials. Presentation is excellent, more of a restaurant standard than a cafe.
