We stayed here for three nights during May bank holiday, the site is lovely. The Pods and bathrooms are very clean and there is nice laundry room and also a space to wash your pots. There is a communal room but we didn't really use this, however some of us did store our food in the fridge. We had a lovely stay and the views are amazing!
Be prepared for a lot of midgies if you're planning on sitting outside for a while!
This camping pod was warm, cosy, really nice comfy beds and a great change from using a tent.
The bathroom facilities a few metres from the pod were fantastic. Individual shower rooms with heated radiators, great shower, toilet and basin. There was always one free and they were clean and fresh.
Car parking is on the road on a lay by next to the site and a few metres from the pods.
My only slight negative was the proximity to the road - quiet at night but I was always woken by passing traffic in the morning.
The stunning village of Beddgelert is about 2.5 to 3 miles away.
Overall I would highly recommend this place and will be returning one day.
First time in a pod and will definitely be doing it again! Granted, we happened to have superb weather but aside from being less hassle than the old tent option, we both imagined it would be super cosy in the eind and rain! More than adequate space, great to have a kettle and small touches such as the bin, umbrella etc. Also, having wifi access is a bonus in an area with zero phone reception. Yes, they are situated relatively near to the road but it's dead at night anyway and the only thing that woke us was a lamb bleating over the road! The bathrooms were better than some in hotels and spotlessly clean. For £40 per night, these were an absolute bargain in comparison to the quality of some hostels and we would definitely return!
We stayed here for 2 nights over a very wet Easter weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly!! On arrival the pod was spotless and the heater had been left on meaning it was nice and toasty inside.
The bathroom block was spotless at all times during our visit, even when the site was full!
The pods have comfortable twin beds and there are lots of extra touches like a bed side lamp and an umbrella!
There is lots of space for BBQ’s and sitting out in the evening and a drying area which is very useful after a day exploring Snowdonia.
The site is very well located for exploring the area and is a short drive from Snowdon, Anglesey and Porthmadog with the lovely village of Beddgelert just down the road.
I recently stayed at Bryn Dinas holidays with my mum and little dog for a one night stay. The camping pod was ideal for what we wanted a good base with good walks in and around beddgelert. The pods were lovely n cosy and equipped with everything we needed and more. We opted for the bedding and towel package £6.00 there was a small extra charge of £2.00 for my dog. The toilet, shower and dry room cabin was a few yards away. There was a small kitchenette, laundry cabin (£1.00 charge for 1 hour to use either the washing machine or tumble dryer) and a community room, which had plenty of benches and tables, a microwave, kettle, toaster, a payphone and a p.c with internet. Bryn Dinas is situated just 2 miles outside beddgelert also 300 yards down the road there is a cafe and the start of one of many treks to snowdon Watkins path. We wish we had stayed longer than one night, we will definitely make a return back.
Stayed here in early March on the back end of the Beast From The East and during fresh snowfall. No matter, pods where still warm and cosy and provides a great base for exploring Snowdonia. Showers after our failed summit of Snowdon where a God send with consistent hot water in a well maintained shower block. Community room was also handy for breakfast in the morning when the weather isn't good enough for a BBQ outside. The only downside was we didn't get to sit round a fire at night with a beer under the sky in the BBQ area. Gives us a reason to come back in the summer mind. Claire and the other workers also have great knowledge of the local area, which particulary came in handy for us during our trip so thank you!
Me, my wife and our whippet came here for our honeymoon in august. We had the most amazing time it was the perfect place to get away from it all and relax for a few days. The site has everything you need and is well maintained to a very high standard. It is in a beautiful setting right near the main pathway to Snowden and about a 10 minute drive to the picturesque village of beddelert. Have booked again for our anniversary this year.
