We have just spent 5 nights at the Tanronnen and did nit want to leave. Every thing about it was perfect. It is right in the centre of the pretty Beddgelert village. The Inn is just so gorgeous, it is a traditional Inn that has developed over time with lovely armchairs by the fire and window. I am not very keen on refurbished olde world, so for me this was just perfect. The bar had a wonderful mix of locals and tourists. Beers delicious and staff so lovely and friendly. We had room nine and it was beautiful, large, views over the fields, and a fab bath that filled up with lovely hot water in minutes. This wad truly needed after a long days walking. Bedding crisp and clean. We ate in the hotel for the five evenings as the food was excellent and a Chilean Pinot Noir one of the best we have had. An example of the delicious food was an extremely tasty venison chilli pate, a fish pie with an abundance of fish and creamy potato topping and homemade blackberry pie. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with high quality ingredients, there was even good wholemeal toast. We really did not want to leave and will be back.

Room Tip: 9 and 10 the best

This was the second time we have stayed at this inn. On this occasion we stayed for two nights and ate in the residents dining room both evenings. The Inn is clean, comfortable, the staff are really helpful and the service is excellent. The food (both breakfasts and evening meal) is second to none. I would highly recommend a stay here. Really well positioned for walking, cycling and sight seeing Snowdonia. On this occasion we actually climbed Snowdon and this wonderful inn provided an excellent base!

We stayed two nights at this lovely hotel. A very warm welcome, good food, service and accommodation was 5*
We booked a table for an evening meal, food and wine was perfect.
Breakfast was lovely, very homely.

Look forward to returning again to this cosy hotel.

We spent most of our evenings in this lovely inn. Drinks are reasonable, beer is good, staff are very friendly and the general atmosphere is great! We didn't stay here or eat so can't give feedback on that. But we really enjoyed our evenings there and they serve until about 11pm which is later than other pubs in the village. We miss it already!

One night stAy only. Spotless inn, welcoming staff, good ale, rooms& food. Great views from bedroom in lovely Snowdonia village. Even left cones on final parking place at the inn for us. Really good if slightly old fashioned place. Great value for monwy.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back likely to be the quietest

We were staying in the village and visited for a meal. Three of us had the lambs liver , one had steak pudding, and one had braised steal. All the food was of a good standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the surroundings comfortable. The bonus is free wifi and the downfall is that food isn't served until 7 o'clock which can be frustrating with hungry, impatient children.

We stayed for a mid week break during those horrible storms! Despite the roof blowing off of our room and no power... We were treated exceptionally well and this wouldn't hesitate us coming back. The staff were fabulous and bent over backwards through this unusually situation! What an excellent place to stay and with warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Can't fault the staff or accommodation!
