We called in here at the end of our walk over the hills from Pen-y-Pass. We were ready for some refreshment and noticed although busy there were a couple of tables free in the garden area. We were only sat down a few minutes before a waitress came over and take our order.
Although I ordered double eggs and chips with peas it didn't take long before they were brought freshly cooked from the kitchen. This was enjoyed along with a pot of tea and was most welcome after the walk.
The garden and the main entrance are a bit apart, the garden entrance is a few yards past the public toilets as you walk into the village. The main entrance to the inside seated area is near the road bridge. You can't move between the inside of the café and the garden area as the kitchen is between them. Note that the garden area does have some tables under cover if the weather turns inclement (as it did with us).
