We stopped at the Fairhaven for one night as we were travelling on to Ireland the following day.The room for the two of us was tiny and very basic. The view from our window was distgusting,it look out onto the back of their garden which was unkempt.Passed on the shower as it wasn't appealing and very small(may I add here we are not big people!).
The breakfast was terrible,as we were in a hurry to travel to the ferry ,on this occasion I chose not to complain to the owners but my husband's breakfast was a disgrace. The hash browns were undercooked and the fried egg was dark brown underneath and rock hard.My husband picked it up and put it on his side plate it was that solid. The male owner sounded like he wanted to be anywhere else but serving paying guests.
We have had many a good stay in bewyts coed but this wasn't one of them.We will not visit this one again and hopefully you can find a better b &b for the same price
