“Maybe give this one a miss”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

We stopped at the Fairhaven for one night as we were travelling on to Ireland the following day.The room for the two of us was tiny and very basic. The view from our window was distgusting,it look out onto the back of their garden which was unkempt.Passed on the shower as it wasn't appealing and very small(may I add here we are not big people!).
The breakfast was terrible,as we were in a hurry to travel to the ferry ,on this occasion I chose not to complain to the owners but my husband's breakfast was a disgrace. The hash browns were undercooked and the fried egg was dark brown underneath and rock hard.My husband picked it up and put it on his side plate it was that solid. The male owner sounded like he wanted to be anywhere else but serving paying guests.
We have had many a good stay in bewyts coed but this wasn't one of them.We will not visit this one again and hopefully you can find a better b &b for the same price

Lovely little guest house on the main road. Room lovely. Shower/ bathroom dated .... but in good working order. Bed was fabulously comfortable. Only disappointing aspect was the room was not cleaned properly ..... I was there 2 nights and only the cup I used was removed and the coffee replenished ... the bed was not re-made and the towels and bathroom not cleaned ... and I would expect this at £62 per night for a double room! ..... Breakfast was an extra charge and needed to be ordered the night before ...... no parking outside but there are parking facilities nearby.

My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived a little later than anticipated but the owner was friendly and we got to our room with a minimum of fuss. The room itself was well decorated, clean and well sized. We both slept well, the bed was very comfortable with the softest, fluffiest duvet ever! Breakfast is ordered the night before to minimise food wastage, which we both thought was a very good idea. The food itself was good and the menu was extensive, with the owner happy to accomodate different diet types or preferences. We were aware there was no parking on site when we booked, but the owner directed us to an area where we were able to park overnight for free, every night we were there. That said, the B&B is situated right in the middle of Betws-Y-Coed, perfectly placed to explore the town on foot and there are plenty of shops and food and drink places to occupy the evenings. We really liked the area so we'll probably go back.

Stayed here with friends in late May. The B&B is right in the centre of Betws y Coed.
We had a nice room. Very comfortable bed. Shower a little weak but that was the only negative. We paid for the room and then separately for each breakfast which has to be ordered by 6pm the night before. The breakfast options were good, really good!
It has no space for car parking but we found places just up the road so no problem really. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at front of the house give a nice view across the road to the river.

The guest house is situated on the main road in the middle of the village, parking is quite a distance away from the house.
We stayed in a top floor room with a super king bed.
The room was nice but had a few extra' s missing like shampoo, biscuits and tissues.
We ordered breakfast the next morning which was huge and perfect to set us up for the day while walking up snow don.

What a lovely place to stay in Betws-y-Coed. We were given clear instructions on where to park for free (which was really easy to find) and a map of the town. Breakfast is charged separately at £6 per person, with 6 different choices. All you need to do is to place your order on the breakfast sheet before 7am. I would certainly recommend the breakfast which was delicious and great value. If you're looking for a friendly, warm and welcoming place which is centrally located, then this is the place to stay.
