“Great cottage and a great location”
Reviewed 1 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Just returned from a week here and it was excellent. Very well equipped, lovely hamper on arrival. Car parking off road is great and a good sized garden too. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is also great so you can walk into Betws for your dinner. Will definitely be back.

“Excellent accommodation”
Reviewed 30 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Stayed at this fabulous cottage with my family.
Helen was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us lots of useful information about the area, and then gave us a brief introduction to the accommodation, which included a very generous welcome hamper which we thought was a great touch.
This Cottage is beautiful, very clean and well equipped, including very comfortable beds,a really good shower, and is only a 1-2 minute walk to the pubs/shops.
Also there are several really good walks from the cottage so you can leave your car in the parking space provided.
We will be returning when in the area.
Highly recommended!

“A stylish Welsh cottage, an excellent location for Snowdonia”
Reviewed 30 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We really enjoyed our stay at Garth cottage. Helen, the owner, provided some very useful information as well as a very welcome and generous hamper. We were touched by the fact that she made a real effort to include food suitable for the vegans in our party.

The location is superb, it's close to everything but in a relatively quiet location within the village. The cottage is comfortable and extremely well-equipped: I was particularly impressed with the full range of ordinance survey maps that were provided for guest use. We all had a great week and my daughters fell in love with Snowdonia on their first visit to North Wales.

“Beautiful cottage in a beautiful village.”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We received such a warm welcome from Helen the owner on our arrival. The cottage is both warm and beautifully clean and well equipped. The hamper and flowers that greeted us on arrival were a real bonus. She even provides a decanter of whisky for a small tot after a long day walking. The bed was comfy and the shower powerful.
The village it is set in is beautiful and the restaurants and takeaways are innumerable. The cottage is only a short walk from all of these establishments. There is even a Spar with a bakery and a Londis store. There are many walks in the immediate vicinity both easy and more challenging and many more only a short drive away. You couldn't ask for more.
Just like to say a big thank you to Helen for the use of her beautiful cottage.
We would recommend this cottage to friends and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

“Lovely, well appointed cottage”
Reviewed 4 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Garth cottage is a lovely comfortable base in the beautiful setting of Betws y Coed. The owner, Helen, has obviously taken great care to make this a warm and welcoming place to stay, and the garden is a delight, especially when the sun is shinning! Betws y coed has lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants and beautiful walks are accessible right from the front door. I would definitely recommend Garth cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Snowdonia.

“Ideal for familes - fully equipped cottage, with parking, minutes from village amenities”
Reviewed 8 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This cottage was an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia. Ideal for familes as it contains a double and twin room (which along with pet free - essential for me - proved surprisingly hard to find last minute). Our family could enjoy stunning low level walks by the falls in the day and short walk to cafes/restaurants in the evening but fully equipped for eating in.

“lovely cottage”
Reviewed 31 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We had a great stay at Garth Cottage and received a lovely warm welcome from Helen when we arrived. The cottage is well equipped, beautifully decorated and has a lovely garden to enjoy in the evenings.

Garth is in a great location if you enjoy walking in the mountains, we did lots of day trips for walking and none took more than about a 20 minute drive to get to the start.

There are some great walking books / route planning in the cottage if you're into the walking. we'd recommend the Nantlle ridge walk and Carneddau range if you'd like to avoid the crowds.
