We went 2 nights on the trot and were pleased both times 4 of us ate so mixture of meals, the Korma was really good. The batter on the fish is the lightest batter I have tasted really crispy and no doughy middle. The Cottage Pie was exceptionally good and the steak burger was really moist. Will definitely go again,

We were there for dinner on a Wednesday, curry night. Both the mild and the spicy cirrus on offer were very tasty. The spicier choice, while not up to New Mexico standards for hot, did have a pleasantly warm after "kick".

Food for most of our group (there were 4 of us) was OK, but the sirloin one of us had was tough . They'd also run out of white wine. We were disappointed after many other reviews rated it so highly.

You could easily miss this place - look out for the sign and entrance on the bend. The starter was an average goats cheese tart (pastry a bit hard but filling delicious with a mountain of fresh salad), but the mains were out of this world. Very easy to tell the high quality of the burger and the welsh black sirloin steak was scrumptious. The handcut chips were fantastic, a real treat - and they don't scrimp! Bit chilly in there, wrap up warm. The service was great. a very friendly greeting welcomes you. Will most definitely be going back there!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough, exactly what you need after a day on the mountains. Huge portions of quality food for a reasonable price, all served up in a lovely warm atmosphere. Just don't be confused by the fact you have to pretty much park on the roof of the pub!

Will be returning here again and again :)
