Marie, Said and family made us feel very welcome, almost home from home without having to do any work. Lovely breakfasts with plenty of choice, comfortable beds with good quality bedding and big white fluffy towels to wrap yourself in after showering. Great selection of drinks and biscuits in your room and a chocolate as an extra treat! A pretty garden with covered sitting area and a conservatory that guests are welcome to use. Always happy to give you advice on where to go and routes to take on foot or by car, you need to stay for a good week as there is so much to see and do. We had such a great time we have already booked to take the whole family (15 in total)
back next year to walk Snowdon.

Wonderful stay in a fabulous location, Said and Marie were lovely hosts. The breakfasts set us up well for the days activities. Packed lunch got my husband and daughter to the summit of snowdon and back. The rooms are of a very high standard, with bath sheets that are lovely and fluffy.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4nights and had an absolutely brilliant time. Felt very welcomed and relaxed. The couple run business, I felt gave an excellent service and was more than willing to give that extra help! When booking make sure you request the Garden/forest view as this is something to admire. Breakfast was top notch, just what u need for busy day outings!! ♡

We stayed at Glenwood for 4 nights with our 2 young children (aged 6 and 4) in the family room (room 7). It's great to find somewhere that offers a separate adjoining room for the kids and we had a wonderful visit. Marie and Said are very welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts are fantastic. A great 30 minute walk along the river into Betws y Coed (a real adventure for the kids) or just 10 minutes along the road. With the benefit of parking and a garden with trampoline, chickens and ball games to play, we could not have wished for a better stay. As per some other comments, the bed in room 7 is quite small (I'm 6'1, so my feet were hanging over the end), but after a day in the fresh air, this really wasn't a problem. We'll definately be back.

This is one of the best B and B's we have stayed in! Super clean, great location, scrummy breakfast , lovely room. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely couple who run this perfect place to stay...Glenwood is more like a four star hotel and really is the one you need to hope has a vacancy!!!!! :-)

Stayed for a week at Glenwood with our three young children and other family members, eight of us in total. We had a wonderful time and Said and Marie and Marie's parents could not have been more helpful in making our time in Snowdonia an unforgettable holiday.
We had room 7 which has the two adjoining bedrooms which was perfect for us and the kids. The bath in this room is magnificent being big enough to be considered a hot tub; if you like your baths, then this is the room for you.
Both bedrooms and bathroom were exceptionally clean and tidy and despite our brood trying their best to trash their room every night, by evening it was back to it's pristine state.
The only very small negative comment I would make is that the double bed in room 7 is a little on the short size for some reason; I'm only 5'7 but found that I ended up with my feet over the end of the bed, so if you're 6' or more you're going to have a problem... :D
Breakfasts lived up to their legendary status and I for one didn't feel the need to eat again until the evening; I don't usually eat cooked breakfasts but I'll make an exception for the Glendale breakfast!
Once our kids are a little bigger we're coming back as this was our first experience of Snowdonia & Glendale and both were a fantastic experience.

Room Tip: If you have a young family, room 7 is the one to have as it's two adjoining bedrooms one with a...

We have stayed at Glenwood twice now in rooms 4&5 as a suite, and family room 7. I cant fault anything at all, Marie and Said are truly lovely people and Glenwood is fantastic, you cant get a better breakfast and the rooms we have stayed in are perfect size, spotless and very comfortable with En suite, what more can you want? The location is lovely - peaceful but close enough to the bars and restaurants etc. We came from south east London last for my mums birthday and all had an amazing time, Marie was flexible with our check in and made us all feel so very welcome as always! We are now booked in again for late September rooms 4&5 and cant wait. A fab guest house, were always more than happy!
Big thanks to Marie and Said from the Collins family xxx

Room Tip: we have stayed in rooms 4, 5 and 7 - all great rooms, 7 is huge! plenty of room for a family amazing...
