Had a nice Sunday lunch here. Relaxed atmosphere, good service and food was well presented and tasty. Would recommend the Bridge.

We went to the usual haunt in Betws, decided everything was a bit grubby, so we fancied a change. The Bridge has recently been updated, and seemed like a good decision. We were not disappointed. The staff were really friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious, we went for the full 3 courses, even though we really didn't have the room, and everything was lovely. We did have to educate them about the use of parmesan in veggie dishes, and hopefully this has been taken on board for when we return! Then it'll be a 5 spot review :-)

We had initially planned on eating at the Bistro but we couldn't get a table in the evening.

After looking round the village we decided to make a reservation here. I'm glad we did, the restaurant is contempary in design and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had a very friendly waiter who looked after us well. The food prices are reasonable and the portion sizes were decent too. Between us all we had a variety of dishes but can highly recommend the Chicken liver started, Tenderloin of pork and believe it of not a shredded duck pizza, which was a first for us all but suprsingly tasty. House wine was around £13 a bottle and the final bill was £120, that was for 2 courses each and two bottles of wine.

Very attractive, if noisy, restaurant and good service, but we considered the prices far too high for the amount of food and expertise in preparing it. Two of us had the duck starter, a bed of greens topped with the tiniest amount of shredded duck, some chick peas and a dressing, which was ridiculously over priced. The rack of lamb consisted of three bones with about the equivalent of two square inches of lamb attached, some very nice potato, but no vegetables, for nearly nineteen pounds . And this was definitely not an attempt at nouvelle cuisine! A very large party had just been served before us so maybe the kitchen was running out of food and we were served the leftovers. We had been looking forward to trying this newish restaurant, but until we hear better reviews we will not be returning.

Small menu but food of excellent quality and nicely presented. The restaurant was newly launched (so I understand) when we visited but already had numerous bookings.
Our meals were very good indeed and I think that this place will do well despite a lot of competition in the town. Cost? Not excessive - plenty of choice to enable you to eat well for £40 for a couple - say £55 with a bottle of wine.
