“Nice place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2012

This is a nice cafe with nice food. Great cheese scones. Some homemade bread would be good. Soup nice. It has a very relaxed alternative type vibe here.
Don't rest on your laurels though.....your only as good as your last review
The cafe building could do with a bit of TLC

The winter or when it has been raining a lot is the best time to see the falls at their best

“What a Find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2012

Brilliant, lovely little walk through an old fashioned gate at the side of the cafe. The building was designed by the Clough Williams who designed and built Portmeirion. Upstairs is the cafe, try the hot chocolate with trimmings in the cold winter, but he also has lots of different organic teas and home made cakes. The falls were in full force when we got there, but the ground was very very muddy, We did try and keep to the path but were about 2" deep in mud at one point. Well worth a visit.

“good food and friendly service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2011

In the middle of winter to arrive for lunch into a room warmed by a log fire with friendly service and a menu where we were spoilt for choice was lovely. The portion size was very generous and we could have easily stayed for the whole afternoon to play the board games provided and read the newspapers in front of the fire, but the great outdoors beckoned and so off we went, but we will be back.

Best pound spent. Great walk down by the side of the fall's through the wood then bak up to the coffee shop- really good food.
