“Steep paths”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

There is an information board advising of different routes but nothing prepares you for how steep the descent is - fair enough but make sure you have good walking shoes on - you have to remember that you have to go back up! The falls themselves are worth the visit and provide super photo opportunities. THe ascent back up is quite challenging and certainly got our hearts pumping (although we are in our 60's - but fit) A little more information would be helpful and we didn't have much time there, would be ideal for a longer visited as some lovely woodland walks.

“Read the info board before going in”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

£1 entrance was fine.

Viewed in Summer there was not a tremendous amount of water flowing and did not look that spectacular from the high viewing point. Maps were available to show you the official paths.

Read about the "modern Salmon ladder" after we had finished going around - hence title.

“Nice Falls”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

The waterfall is nice, the walks down are ok and I didn't mind paying a pound to get in but it's nothing too spectacular to be honest!

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

At only £1 per person I didn't object to paying to go in. Beautiful views of the falls and nice woodland walks but quite steep. Would recommend sensible shoes. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
