The outdoor seating was plentiful as was the inside. We ate there 3 nights trying something different each night and everything was good. The kitchen supplies both the bar and the hotel dining room with the only difference seeming to be the prices. Everyone was very hospitable and gave great service.

Called here late morning for breakfast , no go so we had drink and waited till ten to twelve to order food was told can't order till dead on twelve because kitchen staff might confuse order with previous nights tickets ??? Well what kind of staff do they employ here .

Great friendly staff and most important to us child and dog friendly. Good menu and daily special board. We had the lamb and new potatoes which were gorgeous. Will defiantly be returning next time I'm in the area.

In my opinion the Stables is the best place for decent pub food at reasonable prices. This place was constantly busy but the service was fast and friendly. It was the only place in Betws-y-coed which appealed to both myself and partner. Outside of eating here your choice of eating places consisted of other hotels in the area or a Bistro which was always fully booked and quite pricey.
If you are looking for pub food at a reasonable price the Stables is the place to visit, I would recommend the fish and chips - lovely.

Very busy bar and outdoor area, bar staff unhelpful but maybe due to volume of people.
One meat meal average, one vegetarian meal awful, pile of tasteless grease. Waiting on staff pleasant. Have eaten here once before and it was average but will not be returning, have found some gems, see other reviews.
