“Good food, good setting”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

A good choice on the menu and everything was available despite us not being there at a traditional meal time. We sat outside and enjoyed the town ambience. A good find.

“Well priced pub food in a great setting”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

We visited as an extended family group of 14, and had a really enjoyable pub lunch. We sat outside at two large adjoining tables, and ordered drinks as well as a variety of food - from kids' meals to pizza, sandwiches & chips to roast gammon. Everything was lovely, freshly cooked and really tasty. Both food and drinks were reasonably priced, which was refreshing to see in such a tourist-centred location. Service was quick and friendly, and overall we could not really fault anything.

“If you can find a table you're lucky”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

Not sure what the fuss is all about. We found it a bit basic. The place looked scruffy, tired and the staff sullen. Struggled to get a table, when we got one ordered food. It took ages to come, when it did it was disappointing. The kebabs were dry, salad tired and the lasagne average at best. Looked like ping ping food from a microwave.
It was the cheapest place to eat in the village. This may account for all the young families.
