When we next visit Snowdonia we will not be looking anywhere else, we'll only return to Summer Hill Guest House. It is a little more expensive then some of the others, but you get what you pay for, and in this case a lot more! Friendly, welcoming, excellent food, comfortable, spacious, extremely clean rooms, linen and towels changed frequently, many little extras including toiletries and chocolates. We felt truly pampered, with a luxurious few days break. Can't rate it highly enough.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my son for 4 days of mountain biking. Jan's B&B is wonderfully located in Betws y Coed. Right next to the bridge over the river rapids (makes for a great photo)- but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main high street. Jan was so accommodating - we had an early breakfast on one day, which was no bother to arrange. The room we stayed in (Room 2) had been recently refurbished and was to a very high standard - the bathroom and shower were great. All in all, the convenience for town, the very high standard accommodation and Jan's attention to her guests make this the place to stay in Snowdonia. I will be returning.

Anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Betws-y-Coed need look no further than Summer Hill.
Spotlessly clean - fully modern and stylish bedrooms/en-suite etc - lovely breakfast room - great, peaceful setting just a very short walk from the village itself and a great breakfast, nicely cooked and presented. Will certainly be back!

Only a short stroll from the centre of B-y-C, this B&B is, as others have said, in the ideal position. No noise from the main A5, just the sound of the river. High quality modern fittings whilst keeping the charm of the 'older' property. The cooked breakfast was delightful and plentiful; efficient and happy staff ensure all your needs are catered for. My vegetarian girlfriend was assured that all meat was cooked seperately, and it was. I would definitely stay here again, it has everything you require without the need to walk for 10 - 20 mins, after dinner in town, along a dark and possibly busy road. Jan, thank you very much for your hospitality. :) We just wish we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights!

Room Tip: Stayed in room 7, big bathroom.... With a bath! (And a seperate power shower)

We stayed at Summer Hill early September for 4 nights and had a really good experience. Our front double room was spacious and spotless and we had a huge en suite bathroom. The house has been beautifully restored/modernized and the breakfast room has a lovely outlook across to the river. It is in a very convenient position in the town, quiet but handy.
