“Beautiful Classic Cottage with all the mod cons”

Y Neuadd Lwyd is a beautiful two bedroom cottage in the rural village of Dolwyddelan. It is situated within walking distance of the local shop which stocks pretty much everything you need at reasonable prices.
The cottage itself is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The living room door opens onto decking with a seating area where you can enjoy some peace and quiet away from the modern world.
It is an ideally situated cottage- none of the major north wales attractions were more than an hours drive away. It is the ideal cottage if you enjoy beautiful countryside, long walks and peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of towns.
I can not recommend enough!

Really pleased you liked the cottage and surrounding area which no doubt was helped by the beautiful weather we have been experiencing recently. The cottage was left spotless which is rare but always a pleasant surprise on a Saturday morning, thank you. We look forward to welcoming you all back in the near future.

“A well equipped and superbly maintained cottage in a very beautiful part of north Wales.”
Reviewed 7 July 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Easy to find, plenty of private parking. Peaceful and ideal for anyone wishing to step off the world for a week. All the facilities that you would expect to find in a holiday cottage plus a log fire, fire pit in the rear garden for BBQs etc. Owner lives in adjacent property. Ideally suitable as a base for exploring this beautiful and historic area of north Wales. We have returned for our fifth consecutive visit to this property. Good value for money.

“Perfect cottage!”
Reviewed 24 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

This cottage is beautiful and even better in real life. We stayed there two nights and we found it very cosy. The owner Helen is lovely and the great advantage is that she lives next door. When we arrived, the cottage was spotlessly cleaned and an information book was given about the cottage and location. Also, when we needed help, Helen came over quickly to help us. This location is perfect to visit all the main attractions in Snowdonia therefore, I would definitely recommend it.

“Perfect cottage for a Welsh getaway..”
Reviewed 9 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Y Neuadd Lwyd is such a beautiful, quiet cottage - it's also really central to so many local attractions making it an ideal home from home.

The owners are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful - everywhere was very clean and there was everything we needed, including a lovely wood burner to come home to of an evening!

We love visiting Wales, and we will definitely return here on our next trip.

“Great cottage in lovely area of north wales”
Reviewed 24 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Cottage is perfect and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very good size for a family with all modern amenities. Very helpful and nice welcome from the owners. Log fire is a welcomed treat after a long day out when the weather is a bit colder. Central to so many attractions in North Wales, a great base to explore. Cottage is in a quiet rural location for a peaceful stay. Thanks for a great stay

“Ideal historic Welsh cottage in the beautiful Lledr valley”
Reviewed 30 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Situated right by the ancient church of St Gwyddelan in the village of Dolwyddelan, we were a short walk from the railway station and very near the main road between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws y Coed, we were well placed for visiting everywhere in Snowdonia we wanted to see. Our hosts were friendly but unobtrusive and had made the cottage very comfortable and it was beautifully restored.

“Nice Cottage at an central place”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A sweet, spacious and clean cottage with all things we needed as a family of 4.
Used as a central place we traveled around a lot in different directions. We've seen the castles Conwy, Harlech, Criccieth, Cearnarfon and of course Dolwyddelan (1 mile away). We also railwayed the Mount Snowdon an took stops at very long beaches. From the cottage you can drive around and you can find that all within max 1 hour. You need <1 min walk to the next (little) SPAR to buy food and other things.
Helen, we thank you very much and maybe we'll come back again.
