“Didn't want to leave :(”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

We booked a last minute family room for 2 nights as we were in the area anyway and still had so much to do. Ed & Jen couldn't do enough for us with a cup of tea and milkshakes for the kids on arrival. The room was stunning absolutely perfect for a family. They have thought of everything. The room was spotless with lovely decor and furniture. The breakfast was amazing and served by the lovely Ed. We ended up staying an extra night as the kids didn't want to leave. The B&B is in a lovely place so central for all around activities. We will be returning soon. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Superb, comfortable accommodation. The welcome was warm. We loved Jen's grandmother's fruit cake. Our rooms were spotless with high quality fittings and furnishings. Breakfasts were delicious, wholesome food with every attention to detail. Between the four of us we tried most options! We will definitely return to this lovely area and brilliant b and b.

We stayed 6 nights with Jen and Eddie who both made us feel really welcome and at home throughout the whole time we were in their house. The breakfast menu was terrific in quality and variety and could be tailored to our individual needs, all superbly cooked and presented.

Clean and modern with quality furnishings. Very welcoming (we called at 2100 on the night of) and kind. Free wi-fi, super comfertable bed and relaxing rain-drop shower. Great cooked breakfast w/coffee and the host set us up for a gorgeous hike (there's access to the Miner's Bridge trail less than a quarter mile up the road.) So glad we stayed and will definately return when we are back visiting the UK!

Room Tip: I highly doubt there is a bad room in the lot! But, our room (6) was perfect. Off the main road, s...

Stayed for 3 nights, the whole venue was clean, comfortable and the excellent breakfast set us up for the day's walking. Jen and Eddie made us feel very welcome with tea and cake on arrival. The hotel is on the main road, easy to find with parking and the road was quiet at night. A path along the river bank made it easy to walk to the town during the day, for able walkers. A nice touch having wine glasses and cork screw in the room. Would recommend this B&B to friends and family. We would definitely go back when planning to walk this area again.
