“Beautiful!”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Oakfield House B&B for one night and only really used it as somewhere to rest our heads between our days out exploring but the short time we spent there was enough discover what a beautiful little B&B it was. Immaculately clean, friendly but not intrusive hosts, nice and warm, free wi-fi, close to restaurants and bars and also nearby bigger towns, and a great hearty breakfast to set you up for the day ahead! We had a great view from our room which was lovely to wake up to after a night in an incredibly comfortable bed. Would highly recommend!

I stayed here May 2014, room was spotless and comfortable with TV and good strength wi fi. Breakfast was excellent, private parking, very pleasant, well maintained house and hosts were very attentive. Definitely recommend

We were stopping here using it as a base of operations for a Snowdonia climbing expedition.
Its about a 10 minute walk from Betws-y-Coed so just far enough out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk into for an evening meal.
After receiving a warm welcome we were shown to beautiful rooms with good sized on suites and a host of little touches that makes it stand out from a host of other places I have stopped.
And that's the key, lots of little things that make it stand out from the rest, from the brilliant spread for breakfast in the mornings, include a dazzling array of fresh fruit, immaculate rooms with comfortable furnishings and the spectacular surrounding views.

we stayed 2 nights and were impressed from the beginning, we were welcomed with tea and welsh cakes. the rooms were warm and welcoming. the showers were modern and the hot water was endless, very useful when you have just tried to walk Snowdon. the breakfast was excellent with juice, cereal and a full welsh breakfast. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again.

One of few places in Snowdonia that offered two nights stay knowing it was a Bank Holiday weekend. Ultra clean, extremely friendly, high-class B&B. Have stayed at others before...by far the class-leader (4 true stars!)

Great value, wonderful setting, scrumtious breakfast with lots of choice to suit all tastes and charming hosts! So much to say about this lovely little B&B and all of it good!!!
As we arrived, a warm Welsh welcome met us with filtered coffee and fresh welshcakes were brought to our room. The room was small and cosy, but lots of storage room with a spacious shower room attached.
A small TV, hairdryer, ample tea and coffee with biscuits and lots of fluffy towels, practical elements that made our afternoon easy and pleasurable. Our host was full of local knowledge and was happy to recommend local places to eat. We had a short walk along the river to the small town centre to eat, before our pleasant stroll back to our comfortable bed.
Breakfast was delightful, with lots of choice and every part of the dishes being made to exceptional standard. Lots of very fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast, followed by a choice of 4 hot dishes.
Overall a delightful establishment where management show great attention to detail in every aspect of their work, and always with a smile on their face. Highly reommended!

Quite simply the best B&B I have stayed in, comparing very favorably with 4* hotels. Friendly and welcoming hosts, faultless rooms and and excellent breakfast, at half the cost of the nearby chain hotel. The attention to detail was amazing, particularly given that the owners have been running it for 4 years - clearly no let up in standards. Almost reluctant to rate it for fear of not getting a vacancy next time. Thank you.
