Have just returned from a 2 night stay and the Oakfield house B&B was perfectly lovely from start to finish. The owners cannot do enough for you. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a family room which consisted of a double and an adjourning bunk bed room which was perfect for our teenage daughter. The breakfast that was served was lovely and there was plenty of choice if you didn't fancy a cooked one. All in all this place is lovely and perfect in every way with an added bonus of its location. We will definitely be going back to stay there again as the Oakfield made our first time in Wales an even more memorable stay.. :0))

Well, what can we say, just returned from 2 days staying at Oakfield House. This has been our 5th visit which should speak volumes in itself. I can honestly say this is the very best B & B we have ever been to. Jen and Eddie are so welcoming and friendly. From the welcoming cuppa and Welsh cakes on arrival to the wonderful room (room 4). We have been coming here for a couple of years now and the standard of service has never diminished. The rooms are always spotless, and the lovely Welsh breakfast is certainly well worth getting up for in the morning. Jen and Eddie are always so kind and helpful with my husband's disability needs. I can't recommend this lovely B and B more highly. Thank you so much Jen and Eddie, we hope to see you again next year.

We have been taking breaks in Betws y Coed for over 25 years but only this year have we found Oakfield House. Perfection in every way we will definitely return, the welcome was great, food delicious in fact this establishment could not be faulted. Jen and Eddie deserve good reviews, they have worked hard to achieve them.

Room Tip: We were in room 7 but frankly you won't go wrong in any room

Spotlessly clean family ensuite room awaited us. It was a lovely room with a double bed and an adjoining room with bunk bed. Plenty of storage and space. Ensuite was very clean and there were shampoo, shower gel and other stuff supplied. Attention to detail was unbelievable.
Breakfast was served from 8 to 9. The choice of fruit and berries and yoghurt was better than any I've seen. Great choice of cereal and a vast hot menu that was made to order. I recommend the scrambled eggs on toast.
Overall it couldn't have been any better.
The hosts done everything to make this a comfortable stay including welsh cakes in our room along with hot chocolate, plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk!
Top marks !

My fiance and I spent a while looking for somewhere to stay for our trip to 'Bounce below' the underground trampoline experience with my teenage daughter. We stumbled across Oakfield House and after reading the tripadvisor reviews, gave it a go! We were not dissapointed. Set just out of the town by an idillic location, the Oakfield House lived up to all of our expectations. We stayed in room 6 which was a family suite with a seperate room with bunk beds for children!
We were welcomed with a much needed cuppa and freshly made (still warm) welsh cakes made by the owners. Our room was spotless and we loved all the little touches, like chocolates on the pillows, robes, hot chocolates, free wifi, biscuits, toiletries, local guide and even fresh milk upon request instead of the UHT!
The breakfast was delicious.. with the poached eggs done to perfection and a huge choice of fruit, cereal, yoghurts and and cooked options which are all sourced from local producers.
(The yoghurts were lovely!)
There is a lovely walk to a white water river and bridge, which is stunning!
Would love to return to Oakfield House in the future if we are ever up that way again and will definately recommend to friends and family!

Room Tip: Room 6 was a perfect family suite and we would definately recommend. Perfect location for Bounce Bel...
