Me an my mrs went for dinner after been a walk around the town. It was bob on an my rib eye steak was one of the best ive ever had. The beef dinner my lady had looked great aswell. And we both really enjoyed it. The service was friendly but abit slow as we were waitin nearly 20 minute for our drinks after placing the order. Other than that we would definatly return and reccomend

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend, we had a standard double room. The room was spacious and comfortable, and had a bath and shower. The shower was a little temperamental.
Our offer included a 3 course meal in the restaurant and the food and service were both excellent. We didn't have a chance to use the facilities although these were mentioned to us. The breakfast was also very nice and the hotel has a lovely location, which is central to everywhere for exploring.

We spent 2 nights at the Royal Oak and really enjoyed it. The reception staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We upgraded to a superior room as it was our anniversary and the room was lovely and spacious, it was on the side of the hotel not much of a view but nice and quiet. We ate in both nights and the food was excellent, the breakfast was one of the best we have had in a hotel. Overall could not fault it, it was a little warm in the room but when we mentioned it was sorted out. Would certainly go again.

Had a fantastic overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. Stayed in the standard room which was very cosy. Went for a lovely walk up behind the hotel to the lake which took us a good hour and a half to do but was well worth it as the views were breathtaking. Went then to the sister hotel which was a ten minute walk away to chill out at the spa. Dinner was absolutely gorgeous, we ate in the Grill Room and I was still full going down for breakfast the next morning but managed to eat it as it looked too good to leave. looking forward to going back there in the near future.
