We walked in wanting a quick hearty supper. Ordered the food and we asked for olives to share but they were all black, horrible and tasted like plastic, unpitted and soft - we ate one each and left it and weren't questioned by a waitress about this. Mains were bog standard and tasteless, truly had better meals in a school canteen. The so called "Paella" was actually boiled basmati rice with some curry powder, overdone with tumeric, no seasoning, no king prawns and much more. Attention to detail was truly non existent. Awful food and the chef needs to consider his menu and what he is capable of within his kitchen. I know from experience this is crucial of a successful running kitchen. Staff weren't helpful and didn't ask anything about our meal. Wouldn't advise anyone to visit who loves food.

We have eaten here for over 20 years and we have always had good service and the food is good. Over the years the dress code has relaxed and the wine list has declined. If you have time do try this little gem. We always sit in the old conservatory.

Good menu, good service and good food. Very busy when we were there but the tables are well spaced so it was a very pleasant meal.

My husband and I stopped here for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Although busy we received excellent service and good quality food. We chose from the Sunday lunch menu roast beef with all the usual trimmings & pannacotta for dessert for £12.50.
We would definately eat here again If in the area.
