“What a lovely relaxing walk ”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

Wow what can I say.
We called in for a break in the way back and parked the car had fish and chips and went on a wonderful walk along the river. It was a lovely peaceful forest and clean and great for our son skimming stone in the river. The dogs enjoyed it as well and lots of places to rest.

“Marin Trail”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Superb mountain biking on the Marin Trail. One of the best trails in Wales! Great views and mixture of trail surfaces.

“Lovely walk ”
Reviewed 12 April 2014 via mobile

This is a fab little walk although steep at the beginning it does get easier. The scenery is beautiful with lots of water falls and hilltops. Definitely worth a visit. Take a picnic and it's perfect.

“Lovely place to find peace, tranquility and good views”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Gwydir Forest has a good mix of facilities and walks to suit anyone who is basically healthy and mobile. the views across the Conwy valley are spectacular and the paths are well signposted with informative stuff everywhere. The beautiful Chapel is well worth a visit to see vernacular art inspired by the greater works seen abroad by the obviously ambitious and savvy head of the Wynne family, local bigwigs at one time.

Take a picnic and let it all happen around you for a while!

“Wanted mmore!”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

We had a short walk into the forrest on our last day in Betws y coed, and didn't have time for more, which was a shame. Paths are all well signposted, and easy to walk. It had been a period of heavy rain in the days before our visit, but we still felt it was safe and not muddy - we are used to much more!!
Very picturesque area, and wish we could have spent longer there.
