“A good hearty breakfast”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

We were staying in Betws y Coed over the Easter weekend and we visited this café on a couple of occasions to set off our day with a hearty breakfast, ready for a long walk in the mountains. The breakfasts were always well cooked, fabulous free range eggs, good strong coffee and always good and efficient service. Would definitely recommend this little café and would definitely return.

“Jekyll and hyde cafe!”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

We visited this café on the evening after climbing Mount Snowdon. The pizzas are amazing....freshly cooked with home-made bases for a very reasonable price. The waitress service was very friendly. The 3 stars I have rated all go to this evening and the pizzas we had.
It seems that during the day, this café is run by different people. As we enjoyed it so much the night before, we returned the following day for lunch. There was a completely different atmosphere. The young waitresses were uninterested and unfriendly. They charged £6 for a jacket potato that was cooked in the microwave and served hard, with no butter and lukewarm beans. So much so that we asked for our money back as it was uneatable!! A totally different experience from the night before!
This is such a shame as the pizzas were so good....its a shame they don't serve these all day long instead! A truly Jekyll and Hyde experience!

“Spot on after a long walk in the hills”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

If you're keen for somewhere relaxed after a long old days in the hills as we had this weekend, then this is a great option. We headed there both nights because http pizzas are v good and the burgers are even better. The manager/owner (not sure which is the correct description) was incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating, particularly on Saturday as it was my brother birthday and we were celebrating. Enjoy!

“Great coffee and cake”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

I always visit this little cafe when I come to Betws y Coed. They do the best coffee and their homemade cakes are definitely worth a try especially the lemon drizzle. It's so reasonably priced compared to a lot of cafes in Betws. Highly recommend this cafe, definitely a must.

“Best latte in town”
Reviewed 27 December 2013

We love this little cafe. It's a must for us on every visit. I don't mind that it looks a little bit tired. They definitely do the best coffee in town and when it is cold and rainy outside it's nice to just sit and look out the window. And the breakfasts are really delicious, great that they do one for vegetarians. In fact I have never had bad food here. On the whole I find the staff very welcoming. Simple but effective and I don't need anything more
