Reviewed 17 February 2014 via mobile

This review is based solely on the swallow falls hotel bar/restaurant which myself and family have visited many times, winter and summer.
We find that the food served here is very nice indeed and the staff are always very friendly.

Stayed here valentines weekend for 2 nights sat/sun on the groupon £89 deal. We were in a twin room on the first night, room 36, which we were told about prior to booking but continued to book. Despite being a very small room, it was incredibly clean (pushed beds together and no dust behind them!) and had everything you needed so we were happy in there. We stayed in room 33 on the Sunday night which again was spotless and a fantastic size. Both rooms had the amazing sound of the waterfall! Breakfast was delicious and evening meals were also incredibly tasty and good portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the area is beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again later on in the year and will be returning with out children. Thanks for a great stay :-)

Very welcoming, friendly reception staff, bar staff and restaurant staff. Excellent comfort in the hotel room. Extremely clean too, couldn't ask for a better stay. Meal on valentines was beautiful and well presented. Prime location, over the road from the swallow falls waterfall. Will definitely be visiting again.

Room Tip: Room 34, nice corner room overlooking the top of the falls.

We had a warm welcome and were very pleasantly suprised at how warm and clean our bedroom was. We ate in the Tavern in the hotel and the waitresses in there were very attentive. The hotel is in a brilliant location for exploring all of Snowdonia, and we are hoping to return later this year.

Stayed her on the 5th Feb 14 for one night with my wife and daughter. The reception was very welcoming and allowed us to check in early. The room was ideal one double bed and one set of bunk beds. All was very clean. It is such a beautiful place to go walking and the waterfall is just across the road although it does cost £1.50 each to view it. My cousin also stayed from Australia and they enjoyed it. The food was great at the night and the chef brought the food out himself and stayed for a chat. Would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 222 has a great view.
