Had a good stay with just a couple of "niggles" Booked in and then told we didnt need to pay for parking, we had already paid as were unaware that we didnt need to, perhaps make it clearer on booking. Told we could get refund if we bought something from the gift shop. Our deal was for B&b, cream tea and sauna experience. Kitchen not open until 5.30pm so too late for cream tea as we wanted an evening meal, receptionist said oh maybe get it in the morning ??? Not told anything about the sauna, not an issue really as we were not bothered about that. Ok niggles out of the way!
Room was small but lovely. SPOTLESSLY clean! Lovely comfortable bed, loads of wardrobe space and nice dressing table near to electric sockets. Have stayed in a lot of hotels in North Wales and can honestly say this is the cleanest one we have stayed in. Breakfast was superb! Very friendly chef, credit to you. Had an evening meal here too basic pub grub but very nice....steak pie was delicious. Enjoyed our stay and would definately revisit

Room tip: We stayed in room 30, small but perfectly formed 😊

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend break here. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and had a cream tea in the bar. We had Room 24 in the Lodge, which was large, but cozy...Comfortable beds, clean room and excellent bathroom.
We ate in the bar and had Steak Pie, chips and peas...lovely meal. Breakfast was also fine
Everyone was very friendly, it was warm, clean and comfortable....what more could you want at an amazing price.

Another wowcher deal get away!!! Arrived Friday afternoon check in simple given key to room and went up to unpack room very comfortable bed a bit small but have slept well room seemed very hot in comparison to bar area which was a little to cold back up to room for a jumper. Back in bar area for a few drinks which where very good and the food which we ordered where very tasty and good value. Get down early for breakfast as the food is fresh cooked and not been on hot shelf for ages and dried up.A good value place to stop for walking and cycling and will be back again soon

Me and my Wife came here for a much needed breakaway, we stayed for 3 nights at the end of November. we stayed in a nice room and during our stay we used the sauna, which was so relaxing for us. The Bar and Restaurant staff where excellent ( STEVE AND DAMO ) we had a few drinks with them each night and had a good laugh. We had breakfast each morning and ate in the Restaurant each night. THE FOOD HERE IS SUPERB, 10 out of 10. We can't wait to return for another little breakaway in the New Year.

Having booked the camping trip on Wowcher, the hotel is not too far from the centre of Bewts-y-Coed (3 minute drive).

The campsite was relatively quiet having booked for midweek. The bottom pitch was very stony (presumably for drainage), so a mallet is required to put your pegs in!

The wash block is very tired and in need of an upgrade.

Nice quiet location, and close to Snowdonia.

I would defiantly stay here again
