“Perfect B&B in a perfect location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2013 via mobile

Stayed in Llety Betws as a base for our walking holiday in Snowdonia and couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Very easy to find and on arrival was shown to our room by John who offered us a cup of tea and showed us the ropes. Very welcoming after a long drive.

Stayed in room 3 which is the smallest room in the B&B but was perfect and had everything we could have asked for. TV, free WiFi, shower, and lovely comfortable bed with fresh linen and towels everyday. Facilities for tea and coffee were amazing and was great to make a decent cup of tea whenever we wanted. Was topped up everyday which doesn't always happen and a decent wine glass to have a drink on a night was a welcome addition. As well as this the B&B provided books, maps, flasks and torches to help you find your way into town on a dark night.

Very easy to get into town and was a simple 5 minute walk with directions provided by owners To make life easier. In town was everything we needed from gift shops, to bars and restaurants, as well as somewhere to buy supplies for a busy day walking.

Breakfast was an absolute delight with a wide range of food on offer and a cooked breakfast to die for. Sets you up nicely for an active day but other options available should you not feel quite so hungry. The dining room was very tasteful and in keeping with the character of the house. The decoration throughout was to a very high standard and fit perfectly with the location.

The owners obviously take a great deal of pride in their B&B and this shows in everything they do. We cannot wait to return to Wales and we will definitely be staying here again. A real gem in a beautiful part of the world.

Stayed here for valentines weekend and am so glad we picked here. We were emailed before arrival which is a really nice touch and reassuring. Parked up with no problems. Was welcomed in by the owners who are really down to earth. They even brought us a real brew as soon as we checked in. Thanks! On that note I have to say the tea and coffee etc in the room is the best out of everywhere we have stayed... Normal sized cups and loads of tea bags and milk, nothing more annoying that just 3 of those little milk tubs. When your out walking its much needed and shows they're thinking about their customers.

Our room was fantastic, great bed and a good size room. Was very clean. Wifi throughout the B & B was good quality and easy to access. Another really nice touch is the DVD library in the hall, it was brilliant being able to get in and pick a film, this isn't something that was expected and I think they should advertise it more.

The walk into Betws Y Coed takes less than 10 minutes and is dead easy. I can't believe people have complained about it...?!

Breakfast was brilliant and you can pick from pretty much anything, you just tick the sheer near reception.

On the whole there's absolutely nothing to complain about, this should be rated number 1! PS thanks for posting Gemma's coat!

Very warm welcome and good communications prior to visit. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room is gorgeous. Very cosy and comfy bed with a great view. Only a 6-7 minute walk into the town centre over a great little suspension bridge. The owners were very easy to talk to and would assist with answering any questions. Many thanks, we would definitely stay again! Colin and Kim

At Llety Betws we enjoyed truly wonderful service in a fantastic location. The house is stylishly decorated and our room was cosy and spotless, a real sanctuary after a day in the mountains! Our hosts were so friendly and attentive without being the slightest bit intrusive and were able to recommend and book us a table at a fantastic local restaurant, which was great as we didn't know the town very well. Every morning we looked forward to the delicious breakfasts on offer which set us up nicely for a day of walking. Such a lovely stay, couldn't have asked for better hospitality!

We had a very warm welcome after a long drive from the south of England. We stayed with friends in rooms 1 and 3 which were freash and clean. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into the deco producing a beautifully decorated b&b. Superb breakfast, good quality. Every detail was covered having lots of choice of coffee and tea & biscuits in the rooms as well as lovely fluffy towels! You will not be disappointed !! We will def come back

For a weekend away, it was perfect! Llety Betws was lovely, gorgeous view of the hills from the breakfast room to be enjoyed almost as much as the waffles! The owners are dears, with coffee or tea ready upon arrival. Absolutely no complaints here, we'll certainly be keeping the place in mind for the next chilled weekend away!

Me and my boyfriend wanted to do something different for new years eve, travelling from the Midlands we wanted somewhere away from the noise and hectic city life, and we were over the moon with our choice! The BnB was gorgeous with its vintage decor yet modern layout, the breakfast room was beautiful and I could have sat in there all day, the view was out of this world, the breakfast was to die for (I would walk back for one of them bad boys!) and the owners were so kind and we felt welcome as soon as they opened the door, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in (and I have travelled quite a lot) the facilities were fantastic and I had things in my room I wouldn't expect to see, but they literally think of everything!
All in all 10 out of 10, a beautiful place in a lovely location with lovely people, and Snowdon wasn't too bad either!
