Great bed and truly delicious breakfast, what more can you ask for? Well, how about having your boots and waterproofs dried and ready for the next days activities, or the crisp sheets on your bed or maybe the spacious shower AND thats without mentioning the courteous owners! If you want a bit of peace and quiet in a well run, comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast then you should stay at Afon View. I'll definitely be staying here again!

My wife and I managed to be rescued by this B&B after a horrendous booking at The Dragon down the road. Booked a room at 21:00 on Tuesday evening for a room on the Thursday. No problem - one room left, and we grabbed it with both hands. This B&B fully deserves its Trip Advisor status, from cleanliness to welcome, from fluffy towels to full English breakfast, this place is pretty much faultless.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 2 which was a little small but frankly it made no difference to the quality of the rest of our stay

My wife and I have just returned home from a two night stay at the Afon view guest house. from the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by our host. Our room number 2 with en suite was plenty big enough for our needs and is decorated to a very high standard the bed was very comfortable also the room had a wall mounted flat screen T V, hair dryer and a more than generous hospitality tray. The breakfast were brilliant and cooked to perfection just what you need before you go out and climb Snowdon. The Guest house is in an excellent location close to all the shops and wonderful restaurant's in Betws-y-Coed . Many thanks to our host Mike and Barbara for making our stay one we will never forget and look forward to our next visit to Afon View.

3 night stay, Thursday to Saturday.
Arrived to a warm welcome, very quickly settled in with up to date information on best places to eat and drink. All recommendations were brilliant.
Breakfast was very nice, table service and catering to all dietary requirements. Lovely location in Betws-y-coed and close to attractions in the local area.
We would happily stay here again and we will be recommending this accommodation to family and friends.

My daughter and I needed a stop-over on our journey from Devon to enable us to visit Zipworld at nearby Bethesda over the bank holday weekend and we were advised by a local hotel to approach Afon View because they themselves had no vacancies. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more: everything was delightful - spotlessly clean, comfortable, generously appointed hospitality tray in the room as well as lovely toiletries, a fire burning in the lounge for added comfort, and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend this as a welcoming bolthole for the area, and if we ever come up to Betws y Coed again we shall make sure it will be our first choice of place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed for more than one night...

Room Tip: Given that everyone was enthusiastic during conversations over breakfast I don't think it would matter which room you were allocated! Our room overlooking the front of the house had a beautiful view towards the river.
