Far superior to any Premier Inn!
Breakfast is superb, available 8-9am, cereal/fruit/cooked as little or a bit of everything if you like. Convenient to wake up, wash, dress, and walk straight out room into breakfast dining area and have a good friendly chat with Tracey and Stefan and a good laugh with other guests.
Bedrooms and ensuite spotlessly clean. Rooms are very quiet.
Convenient 10 min short walk from Betws-y-Coed, passing by it's own railway musuem and model shop on the way. The place is good location to stay if driving 30 mins to Llanberis for Mount Snowdon and 40 mins to Portmadog for Ffestiniog/Welsh Highlands Railways.
Packed lunch options are available by ordering the day before, which is convenient if catching the trains with little time to shop.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Maes-y-garth in Betws y coed... accommodation perfect in every way, truly 5*.. breakfasts offered flexible choices and were always piping hot!.. location was away from main street but easily accessible via footpath and 1930s suspension bridge which was great to witness!! Tracy and Stefan make you feel really at home and have plenty of local knowledge keeping you well informed of worthy places to visit and eat at! Wouldn't hesitate to return...

Everything clean in every way.

Warm welcome.

Suggest a front facing room to take advantage of views and a balcony if weather is favourable.

No problem in recommending from this couple of senior citizens!

The room was gorgeous, very modern & clean. Tracey and Stefan were very friendly and welcoming, only stayed one night, comfortable beds, fresh towels and a well cooked breakfast, wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

We stayed at this B&B on New Years Day (sorry, only just got round to leaving a review) and we thought that this was one of the best B&B's we had stayed in. It was very clean and tidy and the couple that run it are very lovely. They made us feel very welcome and on arrival even gave us the choice of rooms. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and they even got up early just for us as we wanted to head off walking in the Glyders early. The view from the breakfast room is probably the best in the house. A great added bonus was the option to order a packed lunch for the next day. Overall, we were very impressed with this place and would definitely come back again.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back which was very spacious but didn't have much of a view, but this wasn't what we came for as we didn't spend much time in the room relaxing, but if it is important to you, then consider asking for a room at the front.
