“Perfect place to stay”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

I stayed here with my husband for 2 nights last weekend. We were greeted by the owners who gave us the most warm & friendly welcome I've ever had anywhere! The location of this place is perfect, so quiet & peaceful & the walk across the bridge to Betws y coed is lovely & only takes five minutes. The room was fabulous with lots of lovely little touches & the biggest comfy bed. I don't always sleep so well when not in my own bed but I slept like a log!! Room is spacious too! Breakfast was amazing & the owners could not do enough for you to make your stay perfect. View from the breakfast room was gorgeous! Would definitely stay here again & would recommend staying here to others!! They even have umbrellas that you can borrow when you go out & torches, great idea!! We were fortunate enough not to need an umbrella though as the weather was perfect. Thank you so much for making our rare weekend away so perfect!!!

Room Tip: Room 1 was lovely as this is what we had. Would stay in this room again

Thank you very much for making such a fantastic review. I too have difficulty in sleeping when away which is why we take real care to ensure we get the beds spot on. I always think you need a really comfy bed clean room and a great breakfast. As you comment we provide so much more as we like you to come away and feel a bit spoilt. Do hope you come again it was lovely having you to stay.

Hi:) we spent 3 days in this beautifu b&b and it was great experience. Our room nr 2 was quite tiny, but soo cosy and warm, with a hint of atmosphere of 20' (at least I felt like that). We prefered it more to any of these bigger;) There was everything we needed, really, even more - soft mattress, electric kettle, cups and plates, glasses and bathrobes. Everywhere was clean, and I think it is the most important. Very practical idea - to choose what do u want to eat for breakfast. Then food is not wasted. Lesley and Mike very friendly, helpful and just very nice couple. We enjoyed our staying!! Mike and Monika

Many thanks for your review. Yes I know just what you mean No2 is so charming with the shabby sheik look and wooden bed frame. Really cosy and comfortable and of corse great value refelcting it to be our smaller room. I just love the peaceful outlook over the blue bell wood and base of Mount Garmon, just prefect, delighted you enjoyed it so much. I know your stay was partly on one of our gift voucher , what a lovely idea.

My wife an I have been coming to Betws-y-Coed for years and as the place I popped the big question seven years ago it hold a special significance. Now with a three year old our chances to get away as a two are few and far between and so we like to try and treat ourselves when we do.

If you want to treat yourselves stay here. Simply the most outstanding B&B in the village and here is why;

The welcome we received on arrival was wonderfully warm and friendly, we were shown straight to our room - rm 1. Lavishly furnished and utterly spotless, and quiet, save for the vast selection of birds outside.

The bed was so soft and comfortable, easily as good as our bed at home which always has to be the yardstick by which all others are judged. I'm 6'4" and my feet didn't touch the bottom!

Before going out to dinner we completed the breakfast pre order sheet. I love this idea as you get exactly what you want. Not only that they very kindly agreed to move breakfast forward fifteen minutes as we wanted an early start for our climb up Crib Goch (our favourite). The quality of the food was outstanding, beautifully presented. In addition there were watermelon slices and upmteen cereals to choose from. All to be enjoyed while looking out at the gorgeous view down the valley.

The walk to the village takes in a delightful route down a tarmac path between two fields and over a suspension bridge build in 1930 across the river. It brings you out by the railway station and takes five minutes or less. They have a rack of umbrellas to borrow should it very occasionally rain....

To conclude I have stayed in the village many times from bunkhouses to B&B and quit frankly when we return as a couple I wouldn't book anywhere else. Perfect. Thank you.

Room Tip: We were room one, beautifully quiet, spacious and

It is alway special to welcome back our previous guests ( which we do a lot) and so delighted you enjoyed you visit with us again . Thanks so much for the review we so appreciate your very kind comments. We do try to be as flexible as possible to guest requirements as we realise every one comes for differing reasons and early breakfast within reason is normally no problem. We look forward to seeing you again hopefully with the little one.

We came to stay here for three nights to explore the surrounding area and chill out after a busy few days at a wedding! Room was very cosy with lovely interior and such a comfortable bed! Breakfasts were yummy with a pretty view out to the gardens and Mike was so helpful throughout our stay, offering us tips about where to go, etc and was always jolly and full of laughs! So thank you very much to Mike and Lesley; we will be recommending you to anyone we know who comes to Betws-y-Coed!

Room Tip: The cosy double is very cosy so if you can upgrade to the next biggest, do! But it's very lovel...

This beautiful B&B has everything you could wish for. The views are stunning, the rooms are decorated with the finest detail and the owners are very accommodating. The small town is a short walk and the restaurants that were recommend were excellent! Snowdon is a quick drive and has the most stunning views but we also went mountain biking, more relaxing walks and visited some of the popular tourist spots. Snowdonia is a lovely place to visit and to stay at Tyn-y-Fron will really make your stay unforgettable!

Room Tip: We stayed in the smallest rooms, which had everything for us.

Had a lovely two night stay in the Valley View suite. This has an amazing view, tasty breakfasts served in the room. Friendly owners, very informative of the local area. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent location, faultless hospitality and stunning views. Only negative comment is poor wifi reception. This would not stop us from staying again.
