“A great place to stay - second to none”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2012 via mobile

Booked fairly last minute a single room.

The location was perfect for a long weekend of mountain hiking.

Communication and booking process was easy and on arrival everything was spot on.

This b&b lives up to all the great reviews - from first impressions to the great breakfast and high standard room I couldn't of wanted for any more.

The location is a 5 min walk from the local amenities - a refreshing stroll after a few beers.

Already booked for August - cant wait

In short - one of the best b&bs that I have ever stayed in.

Just home after a tour of South and North Wales and without a doubt the best two days were spent at Glan Llugwy Guest House. The most beautiful setting complimented the delightful hospitality of Graham and Jean our hosts. We had the en-suite room overlooking the river, well appointed, comfortable and clean. We were made extremly welcome and given a tour of the house and given all the local information we could possibly ask for.

Graham's breakfast was fit for a King and truly set us up for the day! We will be back!!

Room Tip: You won't be disapointed with the en-suite double!

Like fools 3 of us pitched up late in the day with nothing booked on a busy weekend. Fortunately one of the guys had at least a few numbers to call. We struck Welsh gold at Glan Llugwy. With off road private parking (Watch the gravel) and a twin and a single with our names on we were welcomed with warmth by our host and hostess Graham and Jean.
Location - Top of the village.
Ist Impressions - Good. Charming solid building well cared for.
Public Areas - Very spik and span and every convenience including a comfortable lounge complete with a quality entertainment system so modern Jean had to show us how to use the DVD Player.
Room - I shared a twin with a buddy. The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable as well as being spotlessly clean. Washbasin in room. Shared Bathroom/WC.
Breakfast - No word of a lie, Jean served the best cooked breakfast I have had for years. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients and plenty of it. Worth staying here for the breakfast alone and im not joking.
Service - B and B hosts the country over could take a leaf from Graham and Jeans book. Top, and I mean top, service.
Conclusion - I can’t wait to go back.
