“10/10”
Reviewed 11 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this cottage. The Greffyn is beautiful, cosy yet spacious. Tucked away amongst the greenery of betws-y-coed. It's secluded enough that its peaceful but close enough to the village that its almost a stones throw away. It's the perfect retreat.

The owners have provided you with everything you could possibly need to make your stay pleasant. You feel at home within minutes.

There are so many things to do in the area for all ages and abilities. My only complaint is that I didn't book more days in the cottage.

I definitely want to stay again and I'm already planning my next visit.

“Greffyn -Short Stay”
Reviewed 25 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We needed a place to stay for a walking weekend.Greffyn was a great choice; the house is finished to a very high standard and is well equipped. It is in a fantastic secluded location, and ideal for "getting away from it all"! The owner was very friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to stay there!

“Charming cottage in the gateway to Snowdonia”
Reviewed 3 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

There is nothing to complain about. Charming cottage, beautifully decorated for Christmas. Clean, fresh modern furniture mixed with cottage style elements throughout. Generous size, fully equipped kitchen with good size table. TV in each bedroom (not that we ha time to use it), two bathrooms. Pool table and other games available. And the main focal point - the chimney.
Cottage located in remote and yet close to village place on the bottom slope of the hill. The village itself is beautiful with the best examples of local style of building craft.
The mountain river streaming vigorously across between the hill with the cottage and the village center on the other side is another attraction.
Numerous walking paths, some all the way up to the hills offering stunning views.
Well, we loved it!

“Lovely cottage in excellent location”
Reviewed 29 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Spent a great week here. Quiet secluded location but an easy walk into town through the forest. Well equipped and comfortable cottage with all mod cons. Ideal location to explore Snowdonia with all main attractions within easy striking distance and good walks from the cottage itself.

“Great location, lovely cottage.”
Reviewed 29 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Very comfortable base for a group of friends going kayaking and "Go Below" mine exploration. Particularly liked the log burner in the lounge, made for cosy evenings chatting. Few minor issues with wifi codes but nothing that wasn't sorted out quite quickly in communication with the owner. There's enough mobile signal (I never take it for granted in holiday cottages) and it's nice and easy to get there on foot from Betws y Coed where there are some good restaurants.
Kitchen is very well provided too, and the decor is of a high standard.

“Simply wonderful”

This cottage is a little piece of paradise tucked away on the edge of Betws-y-coed, yet only a 15min walk into the village along a forest track. The cottage is warm and welcoming with everything you need; the welcome basket was a real treat. Watching the wildlife (rabbits and birds) was so relaxing. The owner came and introduced herself, which was lovely and said not to hesitate to contact her if we needed anything.
The pool table was a big hit with the children who played it every day, without fail.
I would recommend this cottage if you are after that something a little bit special, that is peaceful and tranquil. I am sure we will be visiting again we loved it that much.

“Yet another great stay at Greffyn Cottage.”

This was the third time we have stayed at Greffyn Cottage in the past five years. The cottage is to an excellent standard and is situated in a great position. There is great walking off the door step and the cottage is just a short walk from Betws-y-Coed village. There can not be many better positioned and maintained cottages out there.

We very much hope to stay again.
