Our stay at Glyn Afon, before and after our race couldn’t have been better.
Superb facilities, tasty breakfast and even tastier home baked cakes!
Thank you Elaine, you couldn’t have been more helpful.

We went to Snowdonia for a weekend of zip wire and scrambling up Tryfan. We arrived a bit early but Elaine gave us such a warm welcome and made us all a pot of tea. She is a brilliant cook - homemade cakes were given to us for our climb and breakfast was superb with a wide choice even smoked salmon and avacodo. After our long day climbing again she made us more tea and there was warm quiche and sausage rolls to welcome us, I can't think of anything better after a long day's climb. So many lovely little touches - this really is one of the best B&B we have stayed at.

Balance.... that is something with 3 young children I don’t get very often...
Our stay at Glyn Afon in the Easter holidays has absolutely restored the balance for our family.
The feel of this gorgeous guest house is so calming, and really welcoming... a real home from home. Elaine is an amazing host-who makes you feel so comfortable.

The rooms are really clean, fresh, and modern, with such comfortable beds.

And as for the food-well, I was blown away-Totally delicious... with 3 fussy eaters - I always worry when we go away-but I absolutely had no need-the kids enjoyed their breakfasts and ate them all up!

A fab location as well-and we made some great memories in North Wales as a family.

This B and B comes highly highly recommended.

A fantastic venue situated at the heart of Llanberis.

Elaine is a superb host, friendly and approachable. She helped us with info on where to take our three kids and made us feel at home.

She makes the best Victoria sponge amongst others. We had the top floor, the rooms are bright, charming and spotlessly clean making our stay all the more relaxing. We weren’t here for the walking/climbing but it was great to see so many in the area, so it’s an ideal hub for family or groups wanting to explore the gorgeous natural beauty that the area offers.
The drying boot room came in extremely handy for our wet swim clothes too. Can’t wait to return !!
