“Super friendly staff in an average tea room”

When we arrived on the bus to Llanberis it started raining so we decided to hide in this tea room. The teenager working there is extremely nice, polite and very genuine. He chatted to us with interest when we sat there drinking tea and enjoying ice cream from the Cheshire Farm. The Ice cream was so frozen that poor guy took a while to prepare it for us. I was quite surprised to see that large ice cream is served in the smallest and cheapest cone you can find. Tea was served from tea bags rather than loose tea leaves, which I would expect in the tea room. It was quite pricey as well.
We bought some jam and honey; you can taste before you buy. Honey is quite pricey but from local bees and it's a nice souvenir.

Visited in August. Lovely selection of honey and very helpful staff - but £15 per jar? Had tea for two and one cake. Still reeling from price. Well over the odds for nice tea but dry cake. Keep walking. There are far higher quality places to eat.

Visited the cafe in August with some friends from the south. We were going to buy some honey but decided to have coffees, tea and cake.i ordered bara bridd .which was very much on the dry side plus the butter that came with it was a bit rancid. When we paid the bill it was just short of £27 a real rip off. We went to buy the honey which was so expensive we left it and brought locally. We had visited this place before and then it was reasonably priced for food.but we should have realised that the quality was not up to much as we were the only people in the cafe

Lovely fellow, lovely shop, I popped in twice and had one of the Mel Pur Cymreig Fferm Fel yr Wyddffa Honey, a full season one.

It helps to give me a relief of Hay fever. because of the natural pollen and completely location collection.

In the past two year, due to the cold winter the bees are not doing very well but I hope they have a lovely one this year!!!

If you are in Llanberis, I would advise a visit to this shop, friendly couple run the shop and small tea room, you can actually try the wines, meads, or honey before you buy,a great idea, then you know you are buying something you enjoy. I could have spent all day just looking at all the products, the lady was ever so helpful and friendly, a joy nowadays to get the kind of welcome we got. Loved it, so call in and share an experience, Enjoy.
