We first came across the Gallt y Glyn a few years ago and it's our 'go to' hotel in Snowdonia, such a fabulous find!
Friendly staff, good food (best pizza outside of Italy - seriously!), comfortable bedrooms, and a roaring fire, what more could you ask for after a long
day out in the elements.

This is a great hotel for singletons, couples, families, and groups of friends - we've actually booked out the whole hotel on a couple occasions for get-togethers and the staff, particularly the owners, were very accommodating; suggesting possible activities and catering to some of our more fussy friends' dietary requirements.

As a party of 8, we stayed 2 nights, making sure we were around for the pizza night but also enjoyed great food and beer on our second night too.
A great atmosphere, made very welcome. Breakfast excellent and our stay was great value. Really recommend

Very friendly staff and owners. Kid's enjoyed sleeping in bunk beds and big cooked breakfast in the mornings. We would happily return here again next time. Pizza and Pint was excellent way to finish off an evening.

This accommodation is brilliantly situated, comfortable clean and serves great food with friendly helpful owners and staff. We stayed here to climb Snowdon for the first time and we were offered pack lunch to take. The breakfast will set you up for the day and the food and free drink will be a perfect finish. Would definitely return to have further adventures in this beautiful area. Thanks guys.

Room tip: Bunk house is great for groups or adults wanting a little bit more space.

Three of us stayed in the family room - it is small and basic (you aren't paying to stay at the Taj Mahal) but also comfortable, and we weren't in the room much anyway as we were out during the day and in the attached restaurant/pub in the evening. The owners were very accommodating - drying our very wet clothes after a rainy day on Snowdon and also helping us plan our route up the mountain. The food was enjoyable and a bargain (free drink included) - it's popular so make sure you book. It's a short walk from the town's centre. Wi-fi is a bit hard to get - sit by the window seat in the hall to get on and then it's okay.
