The place itself is nice enough. It's clean and tidy and the facilities are nice.
The problem I came across was not the place, but the member of staff who greeted us.
Me and 4 friends approached the desk unsure of how much it cost for games. The man was abrupt and rude in his speech from the start, for example when we asked about student discount we were met with te reply "well , no, it's a weekend."
There were no other customers behind us in the queue so I don't understand what his urgency was or where it was coming from; but when he asked "what do you want then" and we were deciding one game or two he was sighing and said again "one or two?!" And we asked how much it was and he aggressively gestured towards a screen behind him and said "look at the screen?!" In a really patronising way.
We were all taken aback to be spoken to like this, but before we had time to react he called another staff member over to serve us as though he couldn't be bothered.
That staff member was lovely to us. She explained he was the 'technician/ manager' and speaks to his staff in the same way.
I have complained to tenpin head office about it.
Overall great place and fun time if you take enough money, just watch out for rude staff.
