“Take a picnic ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

We visit here quite often. What a lovely place. Loads of space for our son to run around with a lovely play area. With a large lake you can feed the ducks. Take a picnic and make a day of it. Bonus is it's free. There are no toilets on the park that we no of. Worth a visit though

“Lovely place to spend an hour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2014

Love coming here with my grandson, the park is so clean and well maintained we walk around the lake for my grandson to see the ducks then he enjoys an hour on the swings and activity area. Nice to see a Japanese garden theme done so well.

“A bit muddy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

I go walking quite a lot in Acton Park and it is a very enjoyable and pleasant place to be. However down in the bottom of the park by the lake, the ground is always muddy and marshy. Sometimes the water comes right over the path and it is very difficult to get around this. A great shame as otherwise a lovely walk.

“Welldone friends of acton park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

Living in wrexham my kids grew up in acton park. I have never seen it look more maintained than it does today. A lovely walk though trees hundreds of years old. Around a beautiful lake or rest on one of the many benches, some in memory of others that loved the park too. Table and benches to have a picnic on. Getting out with the family that costs nothing is rare today . Plenty of bins for those considerate dog owners. Tennis courts for those with a little more energy. Something Wrexham should be very proud of.
