A cold December weekend but a warm fire and even warmer hosts. Very well run and very trusting, it was like staying with friends. Calm and tasteful.

Just a one night stop during half-term.
Great location lovely warm welcome form Jon and Carole, fantastic room, and lovely people occupying the other 2 rooms.
Smashing breakfast, no rush to pack the next day.
Thanks !

This b&b is close to the centre of Brecon and yet minutes from the start of so many lovely walks in the mountains. Jon and Carole are excellent hosts with a wealth of knowledge of the area and are great cooks! The cafe has a warm, welcoming feel with furnishings that make you feel that you are staying in someones much loved home as much as a business. Jon and Carole also have an ethical approach to their business - using fairtrade products and trying to curtail their impact on the environment. The rooms are very comfortable and warm with plenty of space. I'd recommend The Bridge Cafe to anyone wanting to investigate Brecon and the surrounding area.

Room Tip: Room No. 3 is on the back of the cafe and away from the road on the front (not that it's a busy...

A great little b&b, with cafe and bistro in the centre of brecon. Friendly, helpful owners and clean, comfy rooms, and at a very reasonable price. Don't expect frills and luxuries, but they really aren't necessary. Would def recommend and return. Great stay.

Had a fantastic stay here over bank holiday weekend. Borrowed a map, had great food. Couldn't recommend it highly enough for hikers who need a base to explore Brecon Beacons.

This is a lovely lovely B&B. The rooms are wonderfully furnished and the facilities are spotlessly clean. The breakfast included in the room price is all-organic and delicious and Jon & Carole will get soy milk or anything special you want. They know the area inside out and are great at advising you on which walks are worth doing, and they will equip you with good maps and get the bus timetables for you and so on. Really nice people! On top of that the restaurant which they open 4 days a week serves great food at very reasonable prices. Other days you can just eat a takeaway in the comfy sitting room. And you can read your way through Carole's books in the evening which she keeps on shelves for everyone to borrow :-)
Really, I enjoyed my time at Bridge Café and it is very good value for money, you could stay at many a hotel which would be more expensive and still not get nicer rooms, better food or better service. And Brecon is a nice town.
