“Excellent Farm B&B”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

Two colleagues and I stayed here for one night. We did not arrive until after 23.00 but Mary was on hand to give a very warm welcome and made tea and coffee for us which was served with a very tasty slice of homemade cake. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have encountered on my travels. A personal favourite was the bathroom mirror which had a central pivot, so no matter how tall you are, you can see yourself easily. It was only at breakfast that we could appreciate the location which is beautiful, fields and livestock, which none of us heard during the night. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and full of flavour. I really can’t praise Mary and Bryndu enough. If you need accommodation, stay there, you’ll be glad you did.

Our family (two adults and a 2.5 yrs old) spent a very nice Easter weekend at this B&B not far from Brecon. Our room was very clean and spacious; it had all the facilties we could want. Breakfast choices were excellent, the food was well cooked. Big thanks to Mary - she was a great host, made us feel really welcome and her knowledge of the local area was invaluable! We had visited many great places thanks to her hints. Shame we did not have time to use the hot tub... We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back if we decide to visit Brecon area again.

I spent 2 nights in this great B&B situated a few miles from Brecon. The room, and breakfast are excellent. The room has all facilities one could want. The breakfast is well made and very filling with plenty of sausage and bacon. Mary is a great host and always so kind. I have stayed at Bryndu a few times before and is top of my list for Brecon Beacons.

Following an exhausting day canoeing we arrived here to be greeted to a glass of pins and fresh baked cake. The place is amazing and the hot tub is a lovely additional feature. Looking forward to a relaxing time away again

We were lucky enough to get a room at this great B&B at pretty short notice and had an amazing time. The landlady, Mary, was extremely friendly and gave us great ideas for places to visit in the area.

On top of the great service, Mary went above and beyond what I would expect. Access to a petrol station is very difficult after 5pm in the area which resulted in my car running out of petrol in a nearby village. After walking back to the B&B in the night, Mary was generous enough to drive me back to my car in the morning and helped get me to a petrol station. Can not say enough good things about Mary.

We would heartily recommend this B&B to anyone and are looking forward to staying again.

Following a weekend away last year we arrived this year with others to enjoy another get away with Mary in her b & b. wonderful location, perfect for a quiet getaway, and amazing hot tub to relax in after a long day exploring. Mary couldn't be more helpful and accommodating, the breakfast mary serves is a perfect start to the day? Looking forward to our next weekend away there with our children.

We arrived Friday evening for a two night stay to be greeted by Mary the owner of the guesthouse with glasses of home made pimms.
We were shown to our room - a stunning ensuite with a double 4-poster bed.
We had dressing gowns to use with the jacuzzi.............yes jacuzzi!
Not only was this a fabulous guest house with wonderful breakfasts, welcomes, and views but also a jacuzzi!
Mary you really made us feel so welcome. Your guesthouse is fantastic, as are you and your cooking. We will definitely come back and see you.
