“Great stay for a group”
Reviewed 15 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Wonderful place to stay with a group. Main cottage had loads of cooking equipment, plates cups etc. There is no where near to eat out.
Comfy beds, very cosy and warm. Shower great.
We were able to put bikes in shed.

We are so happy with our stay at happy horse barn, we were a group of 12 hen doo and it still felt really spacious, the amazing banquet table was brilliant for meals, the free standing bath with the view of galloping horses was superb, the owners were very helpful and friendly, regular visits from Patrick the jack Russell :) ...
The local countryside is incredible, we climbed the biggest mountain ( well half of us did whilst the other layed on a rock at the bottom.. Perfect place for swimming when the weather gets warmer..

We loved our stay and would definately come back..
Thank you

“Lovely secluded spot, perfect for big groups and walking!”
Reviewed 30 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Stayed here a few weeks back, lovely cottage that is really out the way and is ideal for walking holidays and for a place to relax! Staff were really helpful with walking tips and for places nearby to eat. Really friendly, and we even got sunburnt in March, in Wales!

“Lovely people with fantactic accommodation and location”
Reviewed 13 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Nicky and Ray were so lovely and really helpful. We loved all the horses (I think we all wanted to take the gorgeous Patrick home with us) and they all looked so happy and well cared for. The location was fantastic for walking and we've all agreed we'll be back with our horses at some point this year as the scenery is breath taking. The accommodation is top notch and lots of lovely detail. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfy. Would 100% recommend.

“walking trip”
Reviewed 25 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

we stayed with large group of friends and family at the happy horse cottage over half term. The cottages are modern, clean and warm, with good facilities for a comfortable stay for all the guests.
The owners are friendly and helpful. Great location for walking in the Brecons. Highly recommend the walk to the waterfalls nearby. Thank you for the chocolate cake on our arrival!
