“Beautiful little cathedral in a tiny city”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Brecon Cathedral sits slightly aloof from the town and the precinct is enclosed within substantial walls. The cathedral itself, not particularly ornate, has a good amount of interest, including several monuments and many grave slabs dating from the 17th century.

“Small but beautiful”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Don't go here expecting something along the lines of Bristol or Well because you will be disappointed. However although it is relatively small Brecon cathedral is set in lovely grounds, and has some wonderful views and you will find peace perfect peace here. if you do manage to find a guide they will give you some interesting facts about the cathedrals history. We found that about an hour was plenty of time to look around.

“Peaceful”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

As an Alzheimer's befriend-er, I need places to take my friends. The Cathedral is beautiful - both inside and out. Everyone I've taken there has felt calm and found things to talk about. The Guides are knowledgeable and patient.
Coffee's good too!
