Description: A friendly family-run restaurant serving good quality home cooked food. Our cakes and desserts are all homemade on the premises. We serve food all day from 9am until 9pm, 7 days a week. Renowned for our cooked breakfasts, street snax and texmex menu after 6pm. Food sourced locally where possible. Beautiful views from our sunny terrace and plenty of parking.

We visit the Honey Cafe a couple of times last weekend as we were staying at a local B&B. We have been coming here for a number of years and always feel to be made very welcome in this family run establishment. It is frequented by many locals and so this is usually a good sign.
The menu is varied ranging from the traditional style (the beef pie is to die for) to something a little more exotic (Mexican style dishes). The dessert cabinet is outstanding.
Service was excellent and always with a willing smile even if some of our choices might be regarded as a little awkward.

Been over here a few times now either for breakfast or evening meal.
Mexican menu is very extensive, good size portions and good service from the staff.

A group of us visited this cafe on the way home from the Hay festival for breakfast. The menu is extensive, original and food delicious! Two of us had Mexican food whilst my husband and had a full cooked breakfast . The cafe itself is so clean and the furnishings are lovely. Plus reading about the history of the cafe and browsing through the many prints for sale is an absolute must! I cannot recommend it highly enough!!!

We have been here a few times for the TexMex menu. We were a little sceptical when we heard about it, but we had to try it as we love fajitas! Well, the food is excellent, it can get quite busy so service has been slow a few times, but not too long waits overall. The desserts are amazing, the banofee pie is my favourite.
