Having just spent 3 nights at Derwen Deg I only wish I could have stayed longer. Lynne & Gary are lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble & their daughter Megan is delightful. My friend & I stayed in the twin room so we had lovely views out to the surrounding hills. The rooms are first class with very tasteful decor & en suite facility. Tea, coffee etc is provided & topped up every day. The breakfast is something else, it keeps you going all day, then when you come back later Lynne has baked a special treat to have with a cup of tea. I will definitely be going back again. Highly recommended.

We have stayed here three times now, and there is a reason for that. The hosts are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, the accommodation is beautiful and very comfortable, the food is alway outstanding (Lynn bakes too, so there are always treats in your room) and the location is perfect for exploring the Beacons. We don't like to think of ourselves as creatures of habit, but we will definitely be back at Derwen Deg again. It was faultless.

Room Tip: There are two rooms in this B&B, both are fantastic.

Great stay for the second year running! Lynn and Gary are fantasic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They coped with our constantly changing plans, the trailer with our race car, the appearance of two extra family members needing showers, a daughter who didn't like eggs or dogs. Nothing fazed them! Welcome, rooms, breakfasts all above and beyond. Arrangements for evening meals at the local hotel all part of the service. I have no hestitation in recomending to anyone and we will certainly be back next year for our annual trip to Epynt.

Great location and spot on hosting. Attentive but certainly not overwhelming. Just right and I genuinely mean that. The breakfasts were delicious as were the home-made cakes. That was a very good touch. They pay attention to the small details which totally make the overall experience. Megan was a sweetie, as was Barney the pooch, and we even got to meet granddaughter Annie!! Would definitely stay again as felt very welcome, the rooms were perfect (quality beds), and thank goodness for the drying room!!

Room Tip: The twin room was excellent with en suite and great views! You can even open the windows far enough to give Barney a pat when he's about outside!
